Strong smell but great brushes
I’m really happy with this 20-piece makeup brush set. The brushes are decent quality and no bristles have fallen out so far, and they’re easy to clean. They do come in a basic plastic container, which is nothing special, but the real standout is the variety of brushes. My only con is that they have a strong chemical or paint-like smell, possibly from the dye or finish. This did disappear after about a week and a couple of washes. Other than the smell, I’m happy with them.

Surprisingly Great Mid-Range Brush Set
This brush set ended up being a pleasant surprise. I own quite a few makeup brushes across the spectrum, including higher-end MAC brushes as well as some cheaper drugstore options, so I had a good point of comparison when trying these.The brushes feel like a perfect middle-tier option. They’re soft, pick up product well, and blend nicely without feeling scratchy or flimsy. The handles feel comfortable in the hand and the bristles hold their shape during use, which is something I always look for in a good brush.The variety in the set is also really practical. It covers the essentials for foundation, powder, blush, and eye looks without needing to pull out multiple separate brushes. The included travel case makes it easy to keep everything organized, especially if you’re packing makeup for a trip.For anyone looking for a solid brush set that performs well without jumping into very high-end pricing, these hit a really nice balance.

Great Brushes, Not-So-Great Branding & Packaging
I have mixed feelings about this set, but overall I’m glad I ordered them.First, the positives: The brushes themselves are excellent. They’re well made, use premium synthetic bristles, don’t shed, and apply makeup beautifully. I’ve actually received compliments on how my makeup looks when I use these, which says a lot. They pick up product well, blend smoothly, and feel soft on the skin. For about $20 for 20 brushes, this is a fantastic value. I originally bought them as a travel kit, but I now use them every day.Now for the downsides:The branding and graphics really read “cheap” to me. The logo and design don’t match the quality of the brushes. On top of that, the plastic travel container looks and feels inexpensive and had a very strong plastic smell when I first opened it. Thankfully, the smell went away after a day or two, but it wasn’t very reassuring at first.Another major issue: none of the brushes are labeled with their function. Instead, the brand name is printed very prominently on each brush. I would much rather see “blending,” “concealer,” “liner,” etc. Some of the brushes are very similar, and I had to go to the website and study the chart to figure out what was what. Even then, a few felt like close duplicates.I ended up solving this myself by making small Brother T-Touch labels for each brush and covering the brand name on each brush. Now I can instantly see what each brush is for, and I don’t have to look at the branding I don’t care for. Problem solved—but it shouldn’t have been necessary.Despite all of that, I truly enjoy using these brushes. They perform like much more expensive sets and feel professional in use. The quality of the product is much better than the marketing and presentation suggest.Bottom line:If you care more about performance than looks, this is a great buy. You get 20 high-quality, non-shedding brushes for around $20, which is hard to beat. Just be aware of the plastic smell at first, the cheap-looking container, and the lack of labeling.I highly recommend this set—with those caveats. The brushes deserve better branding because the product itself is excellent.

Decent set but the smell is a dealbreaker
I got this set in the champagne color because the variety of brushes looked useful for a full routine and I travel a lot. My first impression was that they look quite cute, but there’s nothing about them that make them travel friendly. They are full size brushes with a hard but thin plastic case that would likely break under pressure.The biggest issue for me though is the extreme chemical smell that came off the brushes right out of the package. I tried washing them thoroughly with dawn dish soap and even set them in front of my radiator to burn off the smell, but the scent remained. I’ve only ever run into this problem with very cheap brushes in the past, so it really doesn’t inspire much confidence in the materials used. While you do get a ton of different size brushes, the lingering odor makes them hard to use comfortably.On a positive note, the storage case has plenty of room to hold the entire set and then some. I do appreciate that they didn’t fall apart when I washed them and the bristles themselves are medium soft (aka pretty stiff).Overall these are a fine value if you just want a lot of options, but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone sensitive to strong chemical smells. There are better brush sets on the market even at this same price point where you won’t run into this problem.

There are plenty of brushes for different uses, and even enough to share, some for me and some for my daughter to play with. They feel good for everyday use and are easy to work with.
