My 10 year old daughter has been using the Babassu Oil for about six months now, and it has become part of her routine.She has very long hair and a LOT of it, so on days when she does not wash her hair it can become puffy and frizzy. You take a small clump with your fingers and melt it in your hands before applying, as shown in the video.Moisturizing:Yes, it moisturizes well and adds a healthy shine without making the hair look oily or heavy.Absorbency:The oil absorbs nicely into the hair after warming it in the hands. Great as a Facial Moisturizer
I do like this product due to it not causing any acne issue when I use it on my face. It does have a earth/oak type of smell, but I do not mind it. The oil is light so you might need to reapply throughout the day. It does leave my skin soft after a shower but I need to reapply due to it being so light and my skin getting dry. Its a great price and the ingredients seem to be of great quality. You can use this for a full body moisturizer, but for me I might just use it solely for my face, scalp, and beard.
