Nice Quantity/Budget Friendly/A Bit Rough And Wasteful/Okay
I had to rate these sponges and finger powder puffs 3 stars. I had mixed feelings after using these for a couple weeks; they are budget friendly and for only $9.99 you get a good amount of sponges with powder puffs. I always like to try budget friendly products and give them a chance when comparing them with more expensive options.First off, the sponges arrived a bit dusty; I made sure to clean and disinfect them before using. The powder puffs arrived clean, but I still went over them like any other beauty product I order; it’s always a good idea to do this in case you don’t. I’ll start with the pros and what I liked. The price is perfect ($9.99) if you’re looking for something that fits your budget. Another thing I really like is the size; these make it easy for me to blend around the eyes. I also have small eyes so these sponges definitely help. I’m always dealing with problems when it comes to blending makeup around my eyes from how small they are; it comes out looking weird so I am grateful for these. Now onto the cons; I did notice some of the sponges felt a bit rough/hard which is why I had to deduct 1 star. I took off an additional star because I felt these required a lot of makeup which felt like a waste to me. I was a bit disappointed. The way I fixed this problem is I will only use them around my eyes to avoid the additional waste. I left 3 stars because I still found these good if you’re on budget which is something everyone seems to consider nowadays. Overall, I will continue to use them but with some changes so I don’t waste as much makeup. The colors are different than what is pictured, but it wasn’t a problem for me. If you want specific colors then this may not be for you. I wanted to make sure and point this out.
