It’s been just under a year since Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis hard-launched their relationship on Instagram. Across the last 10 months or so, things have only amped up: vacations with friends, a red carpet appearance, and plenty of vocal and social media support for each other’s ventures.
Last night, in one very public step, the couple took to the stage at 92NY in New York for a Q&A session promoting Curtis’s new book The Book of Possibility. It marks their first public work engagement together.
For the occasion, both Aniston and Curtis stuck to their own style codes, emulating a couple style that could be defined as “polished west coast wellness guy; sleek and chic, arms carved from marble woman.” Aniston opted for a long strapless black dress with an arpeggiating, high-low hemline that revealed the dress’s white lining, paired with gold stiletto Christian Louboutins and a brown boxy handbag. Her caramel highlighted hair, as always, was glossy and straight. It was a signature Jennifer Aniston look: she loves a classic LBD (Little Black Dress), and also the SBD (Slinky Black Dress), the LLBD (Little Leather Black Dress), and not forgetting the VBD (Vintage Black Dress). Last night’s offering was a perfect late-summer LBD that accentuated her sculpted arms. (It’s all thanks to Pvolve, as she’ll tell you).

Curtis, meanwhile, opted for a khaki bomber jacket, black t-shirt, black jeans, and khaki and white sneakers. His salt and pepper hair was slicked back high on his crown. (Maybe styled by Aniston, as we’ve seen her do previously.)
The actor and beauty founder led the questions with Curtis, getting into his work as a wellness expert and transformational coach, his personal journey to wellness, and own health issues. (Curtis suffered lesions on his spinal cord as a child, which affects his mobility and means he walks with a limp.)
Naturally, there was flirty and playful banter throughout, and the couple drew comparisons between their own jobs. At one point, he asks her: “What’s one possibility you’re choosing today?,’ to which she replies, ‘To overcome a very deep, deep fear of public speaking,’ alluding to her moderating the event.
Mutual respect and support is what seems to really bind the couple. For Aniston, Curtis has appeared in a cute video trying out her haircare brand LolaVie. For Curtis, Aniston has been promoting his hypnotherapy work, speaking passionately about his practice to press.
