In June, the Princess of Wales became the first royal to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. One of the UK’s most grueling hikes, it involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours. No mean feat, of course, but Catherine nobly rose to the challenge to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which works to improve access to holistic cancer care, having supported the Princess through her own diagnosis in 2024.

Now 20 months in remission, today Catherine returned to the Royal Marsden for a surprise visit, speaking to staff and patients and observing how the funds raised through her Three Peaks Challenge are being put to use. For the occasion, she wore an emerald dress by eco-conscious label Suzannah London, which she previously wore to the Anna Freud Centre during Mental Health Awareness Week in 2023. So fond is she of the style that she owns it in multiple color ways—though this particular shade of green is fast becoming a favorite.
