Congratulations are in order for Lady Gaga.
On Friday evening, Page Six reported that the pop star and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, had welcomed their first child together. The baby’s sex and name have not yet been confirmed.
Gaga and Polansky became engaged in April 2024 after five years of dating.

“My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?” Gaga told Jonathan Van Meter in her October 2024 Vogue cover story. Their relationship accelerated during the COVID-19 lockdown, when Gaga and Polansky, an entrepreneur, quarantined together at Gaga’s home in Malibu for over a year.
“We had this amazing chapter of a weird kind of normalcy,” Polansky told Van Meter, “that’s essential for any relationship to develop in a real way—taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together….”
The couple has kept a low profile since May, when Gaga was promoting the release of her concert film Apple Music Live: Mayhem Requiem. The Art of Personal Chaos, Gaga’s tour supporting Mayhem, her Grammy-winning sixth studio album, ran from about April 2025 until April of this year.
Lady Gaga has long been open about her desire to become a mother. In an interview on SiriusXM in 2013, when she was 27, Gaga said that she wanted “to have tons of kids, actually…I think at least three.” She went on: “I want to live a family life. I grew up with a very strong family and I just cannot imagine not having a normal nuclear family.”
Thirteen years later, it seems that Mother Monster’s wish has come true.
