There are few things more Milanese on a Friday night than a chic, late dinner at restaurant Il
Bolognese. This past Friday, though, the crowd wasn’t the usual local mix.
Hours after presenting his Spring 2027 show, Demna gathered his crew from the front row and runway for an intimate dinner that began in the courtyard of Il Bolognese over Negronis.
The group, including Shawn Mendes, Bruna Marquezine, and Edward Norton, relaxed and unwinded as conversations and chatter got louder. Loïk had curated the music in the background,
moving from Pino Calvi and La dolce vita to Mina’s Il cielo in una stanza—it hardly gets more
Italian than that.
Camila Morrone arrived wearing a black dress and a huge white faux fur while Lindsey Vonn wore a
black leather jacket with monogrammed pumps and a matching Horsebit bag. Photographer Jacques Burga moved through the space with his camera, catching everyone before they made their way into the wood-paneled restaurant.
That was when the extent of the eclectic guest list really came into focus. Keke Palmer and
Anok Yai joined Bianca Jagger at her table; Nadia Lee Cohen sat with Manu Ríos. Around the room,
Aryna Sabalenka—fresh from the US Open—joined Naomi Watts, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II,
Romeo Beckham, Alton Mason, Bloody Osiris, and YT.
Dinner was reassuringly Italian: Catalan prawns, eggplant parmigiana, Gavi and Pinot Nero
and, of course, tiramisù—because the best is always saved for last. By then, Demna’s cast of characters didn’t feel confined to the runway anymore. Different generations, different worlds, and very different ideas of who the Gucci person of 2026 is, all in one room—and ready for a very Good Friday night in Milan.
