Great bulk set! The sponges are soft, expand well when wet, and blend liquid, cream, and powder really smoothly. For 21 pieces, this is an incredible deal and perfect for everyday use or backups. Definitely worth it!

Better than expected.
The sponges are a lot more dense than the ones I normally use, and I like it better. It absorbs way less makeup and still leaves a good finish. It exceeded my expectations.

Decent Set for Beginners
This black blender set came with a nice assortment of sponges and sizes. Why I ordered these and what I appreciate about the sponges is that they come in black. Nothing drives me more nuts than a super light sponge, because you know it’s going to stain no matter how fast and well you clean it. The few sponges I used were cleaned immediately after, washed well, and dried relatively quickly; however, the black color helped mask any stains that remained.The sponges held both CC and BB creams well, but we noticed that the powder didn’t hold on as well as with other sponges. I had to apply my powder a lot more than usual to achieve enough coverage. This was due not only to the density of the sponges but also to their quality. I noticed some of the sponges I received looked and felt like they were made of different types of sponge, even though they were the same size/shape.The ability to grab powder and the possibility that some of the sponges I received were not made of the same materials are the reasons I didn’t give the set five stars. However, this is a good starter set for anyone on a budget.
