Just what I wanted, think not the thin flimsy stuff. I don’t like the ball foam blenders so I was happy to find these.

For APPLICATION – does NOT work for blending.
I should have read the description better. This works okay for application of foundation if that’s what you want. It does not work well for blending and smoothing. In fact, I’ll end up using this for makeup removal. It’s a hard sponge, not a soft one.

Smell is a bit… off
These came nicely packaged and vacuum packed. They plumped up quickly after tight packaging. There was something a little “off” about the smell though. Heading into my more “natural products” phase of life so I will be looking for another applicator instead of these sponges.

terrible product
these are super weird. they don’t absorb water like blending sponges are supposed to, but they do absorb product and leave the face looking patchy and lined. i just threw them away.

Good sponges
These sponges were actually used to cushion a mask that I wore for a costume. They were great because they were soft and absorbed sweat. I did use one for makeup, too. It cleaned well after washing it out, too.

These sponges are lovely and smooth, and they don’t crumble in use. Also, they’re about 1cm thick, so it’s possible – with care – to slice them in half length-ways (which I needed to do to fit them in my powder box).They do, however, come in a resealable plastic bag INSIDE another plastic bag, which seems to be at least twice as much plastic as necessary.

Good make up sponges. They are pretty thick and don’t disintegrate or shed whilst you use them (which is a problem I’ve encountered from some cheap sponges I’ve purchased in the past).They are a very generous size, so much so, that I’ve cut them in half to fit in my make up compact, so in effect I have 10 make up sponges to use, instead of 5. Total bargain for the price, would recommend 👌
