Silky smooth
With the winter weather comes dry everything including my hair. I’ve used the Acure brand hydrating shampoo and conditioner combo for a while and thought I’d give this a try. I used it in place of the conditioner and left on as directed. My hair immediately felt softer and appeared shiny. I plan to make this a weekend routine.

Great for a shower, needs more staying power
I have very fine, very straight hair that is below shoulder length. I find that the ends of my hair get very dry and need some love to maintain the length. This deep conditioner is an occasional use product to help me stretch out hair cuts. While the product has a pretty strong floral scent during use, I find that it entirely dissipates by the time my hair is dry. This isn’t really a mask, even though you leave it on for an extended period of time. I do notice that my ends are softer and silkier after use. It’s much easier to get a comb thru my hair when I use this product. I just wish that the impact lasted a bit longer. I get maybe two days of improvement. At more than 3$/oz when I got this, this product just doesn’t last long enough for the full five stars.

I like the results but I cannot tolerate the smell
This hair mask dishes out very desirable results. However, as someone who is prone to migraines, the fragrance was a no-go for me. It’s a very strong, perfumy scent that lingered for a really long time even after rinsing out the product. I’m a bit bummed out cause I was excited to try this mask and I want to continue using it but I don’t think I can at the expense of getting migraines and nausea. 🙁

Smells amazing!
My first thought about this hair mask was how amazing it smelled! I am extremely sensitive to smells and get headaches from even the mildest of perfumey smells, but this was a nice, light floral scent that I really enjoyed using. I could smell it while I used it and while my hair was wet, but couldn’t smell it anymore after my hair was dry.I have used it a few times and it seems to work very well on my fine curly hair. I was skeptical because it felt like there was a siliconey residue left in my hair when I rinsed it out, but it was non-existent after drying. It didn’t weigh my hair down at all, which I was worried about. It also really seemed to help moisturize my hair after a lot of abuse from salt water while on a beach vacation.My only complaint is that it wasn’t clear whether it was a treatment to be followed by my regular conditioner or if it was to replace my regular conditioner. I tried it both ways and got similar results, so I just use it to replace my regular conditioner when I use it.Overall, very nice product and the price seems reasonable for the amount you use and how often you use it.
