Albolene has been around since 1885. I hadn’t even hear of it until recently when I asked a friend how her 55 year old skin looked so amazing,. This stuff makes a huge difference. Also if you use Tretinoin like me, this is an absolute necessity to keeping your skin barrier in decent shape and not looking like a leper. I just love all thee people with their anti-petroleum issues. Petroleum is in all these ultra moisturizing things that actually work because it actually works. It’s also in your shoes, lipstick, your car tires, your window blinds. Pretty much everything. Now, if you are prone to break outs or clogged pores, I may not use it. But I’m semi-old (59) and those days have passed. If I get a zit it’s because my hormones are always on the freak out. If I have makeup on, I massage this on and remove with a tissue until the tissue has no more signs of makeup. Then I put some more on and let it remain there until I’m getting close to bed time. I then get a very warm washcloth to remove just so my skin is not greasy. Your skin will be so soft. You don’t even need moisturizer. I use Desitin Night recovery moisturizer (can’t remember the name), but really you don’t need it with this.

Oh, I’ve been using this since I was probably 20 years old and I’m 79 now but I do love it. Great make up remover and moisturizer. I think my mom probably used it and also my grandmother. But one bottle is very inexpensive and it is big and it lasts at least a year for me using it twice a day. But it has kept my face well moisturized and in soft for decades!

Amazing Cleanser & Moisturizer
This is an amazing skin care product. Unfortunately, I did not discover it until I was in my early 70s, now 78. I am frequently asked what skin care products I use. While I do have good genes & do not look my age, I will say this was a major game changer for me. It helps keep skin moistured ‘& reduces wrinkles. I do use other products including some Retinol, but I will always stick to this for removing makeup at night & sometimes putting it on clean skin while in shower to get the steam effect with it. PLUS it costs around $10 for a large jar that lasts a long time. I love Albolene!

Wasted my money.
Worst makeup remover ever. It takes off the makeup okay. However it leaves a tacky waxy feel on the skin that’s hard to remove. I tried using warm water but it wasn’t enough. Then I tried makeup remover towelettes which was better but my skin still didn’t feel clean. Finally I had to resort to plain old soap and water which worked the best but was way to drying on my already dry skin.I used it 3 times and thew it in the garbage.
