This kit really does feel like a full starter collection and then some. Most of the products land somewhere between decent and genuinely impressive, with a couple that really stand out. The 36-hour eyeliner is easily the star. It does not budge. Once it’s on, it is on. Between the staying power and how bold it looks, you’ll want to take your time applying it because fixing mistakes is not easy.The mascara is just as intense in terms of hold. It handled sweat and even a shower without smearing, which is impressive, but it also took some effort to remove at the end of the day. The brush does a great job separating and coating lashes, so you get a nice fanned-out look without much clumping.The concealer palette has a wide range of shades and very strong pigment. Since it’s cream-based, it blends out well, but there’s a bit of a learning curve if you’re used to liquid products. The packaging feels a little flimsy, though, so it’s something you’ll want to handle carefully. The included brushes are tiny to the point of being impractical, so you’ll likely reach for your own tools instead. On the plus side, the sponges are actually good quality, and the foundations go on smoothly with solid coverage. They feel slightly heavy at first but still comfortable enough to wear.The primer, awkward name aside, does what it’s supposed to do. It has a slightly tacky texture that helps foundation stay in place, even if the name feels a bit silly.There are several neutral-toned eyeshadow palettes included. They perform well, with minimal creasing or fallout, but the color selection leans safe and a bit repetitive. Nothing wrong with them, just not especially exciting.One fun extra is the cat-eye stencil tool. It’s a little tricky at first figuring out how to position it, but once you get used to it, it actually helps create a clean, even wing.The matte lip glosses are probably the weakest part of the set. The color payoff is strong and they last a long time, but they feel very dry on the lips, almost uncomfortably so. The included lip balm helps if you apply it beforehand, which feels like it was added for exactly that reason.The case everything comes in is a nice surprise. It’s sturdy, well-organized, and has enough extra space for additional items, which makes it easy to keep everything together.Overall, it’s a well-rounded kit with a few standout products and a few trade-offs. This makeup kit is an excellent starter set and a perfect option for anyone who is just beginning to learn about makeup. It would be great for a teen who wants to start experimenting with the techniques they see all over social media, or for an adult who never explored makeup beyond the basics and feels like it might be too late to learn. This set makes the whole process much more approachable.I am actually a fairly advanced makeup user with a large collection of higher end products from brands I love. However, when I started teaching a friend how to do makeup, I quickly realized that using my personal products was not ideal. When you are learning, you go through a lot of product while practicing techniques. Having an all inclusive kit like this is perfect for informal lessons.This set truly includes everything needed to go from knowing nothing about makeup to having the confidence to start building a personal collection. It gives beginners the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of products before investing in more expensive items they may not actually need. The kit includes tools and products for a full face, from primer and foundation all the way through contour, bronzer, blush, highlighter, powders and creams, eyeliner, mascara, and a wide variety of eyeshadow colors and shimmers. It is a great way to try different looks and learn what works best.I also really appreciate that the kit includes helpful guides for brows and eyeliner. Those two skills can be intimidating for beginners, so having guides that remove some of the guesswork is a great addition.The quality of the makeup itself is comparable to lower end drugstore products, which is actually perfect for beginners. The goal at this stage is to practice and build technique. This set gives you everything needed to do that without worrying about wasting expensive products. The included makeup bag is also surprisingly nice. It has a cute style and a zipper that feels sturdy enough to handle regular use.Nothing in this kit is meant to compete with luxury makeup, but that is not the point. Most people will not use every type of product every day, so having a large assortment of solid mid quality items allows you to experiment without guilt. Considering the very reasonable price point and the huge amount of product included, it is an excellent value.I honestly wish I had something like this when I was a teenager just starting out in the often overwhelming world of makeup. My friend is learning quickly using this set, and I am having a blast teaching her all the techniques she needs to level up her beauty skills. Highly recommend!

Has its limits but really good for the price
This is an okay makeup kit. It has some features that I like and then others that I’m not such a huge fan of. As for the things I like, is it’s a very large set. You have everything you need in this kit. The case that it comes in is super cute and is very well made. The colors in the eyeshadows and contour palette are nice. They’re very pigmented. I wasn’t sure if they would be because many time you buy kits like this and they barely have any pigment to the actual colors, but these ones do which is nice. The makeup is okay. It’s not super high quality, but you wouldn’t expect it to be for the price you’re paying for this huge kit. But, for the price, it’s nice quality. One of the issues is with the foundations. It would be really nice if this kit came with different options with different colors of foundations. It’s very hard to appeal to a wide variety of people when you have such a limited foundation choice. This really limits the consumer base to only really fair people and not people with other skin tones. Also, the lip gloss color choices are very similar. Even though there are 6 lip glosses, they are all different shades of red. There’s no variety of neutrals. Which you would think would also be included in a set like this that you are trying to appeal to a wide variety of people. Overall, though, if this light foundation is going to match your shade, this is not a bad kit, and it would make it really nice kit for a younger person, just starting to experiment with makeup. This would be a very nice kit for them.
