Only concealer I’ve ever seen to have salicylic acid in it.
I really like this concealer from Almay. This is the ONLY concealer I have ever seen to have salicylic acid in it. What a novel idea to add something to prevent zits when covering up zits! No, seriously though, I do really like this concealer. I ordered the 400 shade, and it was way too dark for me. So, I got the 200 shade and mixed the two. The mixed shade is perfect on my skin. This concealer blends so easy over my moisturizer. It almost completely hides my dark spots without being cakey or leaving creases. I don’t even put foundation over it, just a little power and it blends right in! And I would have loved the salicylic acid in my 20s & 30s lol. That is such a great option for acne prone skin. It is fragrance free, non-comedogenic, vegan, and hypoallergenic.

– Sensitive skin friendly (no allergic reactions or exacerbations)- Good coverage and longevity even without a primer or setter (stays 6hrs for non-sweaty people)- Easy to apply in a rushed morning or on-the-go (I blend with my fingers and it’s good)- Sometimes causes acne if I sweat and don’t use a primer tho- I can’t smell but it does not irritate my eyes if used on under-eye bags.Tip #1: If you’re also pale as hell and live in a northern climate, get 2 or 3 shades of this for different times of the yearTip #2: To perfectly cover under-eye circles for a bright and healthy look, use a pink/peach color-correcting primer first, then apply this, and top with setting spray/powder. It won’t crease and is absolutely seamless.

The absolute best concealer for anyone with acne, especially hormonal acne. I’ve been using this stuff for decades. Not only does it cover beautifully, but it genuinely does help to heal active pimples. It also works to avoid acne in other areas since it doesn’t contribute to clogged pores. And it doesn’t oxidize on my skin, which is a slight miracle. Everything tends to oxidize from my natural skin oils, sometimes within 30 minutes, but this remains put all day.The consistency could take some getting used to for it to create the perfect coverage—I tend place a tiny dot on every pimple and then go back to blend each one a bit (not blend so much as keep dabbing a clean finger over the pimple and dabbing around it to spread it out. Brushing it could remove it, while dabbing it with a brush or finger works great). I also leave the worst pimples for last, because allowing it to dry a few seconds longer makes for better coverage.This is perfect for no-makeup makeup. I usually don’t wear makeup, but if I have a hormonal breakout, I’ll use this concealer and top it off with a powder. I’m grateful this comes in a shade that allows me to avoid foundation with it.

It goes on alright, but dries so fast that it doesn’t blend at all smoothly. So, coverage is not the best. Color is fine, but I won’t order this again.
