Lovely shine & color in a single layer
This specific shade “Bare Girl” does look pretty natural on me, albeit a very shiny, glossy natural color, but of course this will depend on your skin tone and natural lip color as this is a tinted gloss and not fully opaque. My attached photo collage is of my natural lips and then again with a single layer of this gloss applied.I’m very happy with both the level of moisturizing and color payoff with even a single layer and while it’s a bit sticky at first, it does become less so after a while. The shine does die down a bit too, especially if you’re eating or drinking, but the color tinting stays behind even as some of the glossiness wears off. You can of course reapply if you’re wanting to keep up that high shine look though.This gloss does have a slight tingle to it, but not painful or super noticeable. I can feel a residual tingle for about an hour after application, but that’s only because I was trying to keep track for the sake of this review. It’s barely there after about a few minutes and I think there is a nice plumping effect without being too much. It’s also a bit sweet, both in taste and smell, but it’s not an obnoxiously strong scent.I like the doe foot applicator and that this is a twist top cap, which feels very secure. I’d feel comfortable with throwing this in my bag to roll about with everything else that’s been lost to the depths of my purse as it doesn’t feel like it’d be able to open up on its own and make a mess.I did want to point out that the bottom of this gloss tube is rounded so it can’t stand up on its own if you were to try to place it down on a counter. To be honest, I normally don’t do this as I just hold the base with one hand and the applicator in the other, but for my review photos, I did have to place the base down so as to be able to pick up my phone to take a picture of the applicator wand. I don’t think this rounded base will be an issue for most people, but I wanted to mention it in case there’s anyone out there where this does matter to them, maybe those with different levels of mobility.

Shiny but sheer, truly non-sticky
This review is for Amuse Seoul Jel-Fit Tinted Lip Gloss [04 Bare Girl], which is made in Korea. This lip gloss is bouncy on the lips (I guess that is the jel-fit part) and shiny but sheer. I got the color Bare Girl and it barely changed the color of my lips, which is not a bad thing, depending on the look I am going for. I would try some of the more pigmented ones to see if there is any color payoff. It is unscented and unflavored.The lip gloss does not clump or form those weird goopy strings when I press my lips together, even after licking them. This is a HUGE plus in my book. It does tingle a little bit but the plumping effect is not dramatic, which I love as I already have full lips and do not need any plumping. The lip gloss also has a slight moisturizing effect as it sealed in hydration (I always apply products to damp skin, including lips) and I did not feel the need to reapply unless it rubbed off while eating.I’ve used Amuse products before and love their banana lip oil so getting to try this lip gloss was exciting for me. This product is unscented though, unlike the oil which has a lovely banana scent. They missed the mark on this. Another thing I do not love is that bottle does not stand as the ends are rounded. It looks cute but means this can only lay sideways on a vanity.At the time of review the price is listed as $18.99, which I thought was a bit too high before use, but one swipe covers both lips so I think this will last me a long time. I think at the current price point it is a good value for the money.
