I had never used a hair oil before and was always skeptical that it would leave my hair greasy. When I saw this one had heat protection, I figured it is as good a time as any. It arrived on a rainy day, so I figured this is as good a time as any to test it. I applied a small drop of this serum to the ends of my hair and then massaged in in and up my long hair. Then I applied a second bit…immediately I noticed my hair felt a bit softer. I used the Dyson to dry my hair and was truly impressed with how soft and healthy my hair looked. There was no frizz and it was manageable! My hair did not look dry at all. It actually had shine. It definitely leaves my hair more like when my stylist blows it out. I am pleased with this Hair Serum and am truly glad I tried it. It is definitely a part of my hair routine now!

Great smelling hair serum
Due to the type of hair that I have, I find that I really need to dry my hair because my scalp will get yucky and my hair will get frizzy and just won’t feel right. Using a hair dryer definitely takes a toll on my hair, so i’m always looking for products to help combat the high heat tools that i use. Came across the ARHGOAT Heat Protection Hair Serum and was curious by it. First of all, it smells absolutely fantastic. It’s a bit sweet and warm smelling. Maybe not great to use during the summer because I definitely think bugs would be attracted to it. The product is oily and works into my hair well. The first time I use it, I didn’t use enough, the second time… too much. It’s a bit tough to find the correct amount to use in your hair but once you do… the hair serum works amazingly well. My hair feels soft and smooth after drying my hair. Because you don’t have to use a ton, the bottle will definitely last a while. For the price, I’m happy with the ARHGOAT Heat Protection Hair Serum and would purchase again and absolutely recommend.

Excellent silicone-based hair serum leaves hair soft, shiny, tangle-free, and frizz-free
This heat protection hair serum is mostly silicone oils which worked very well on my hair, leaving it soft, shiny, tangle-free, and frizz-free. It also contains macadamia nut oil, a subtle, pleasant fragrance, vitamin E and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (also known as octinoxate), a chemical sunscreen to protect the hair from UV damage. As long as you do a good job of coating every hair shaft, it should be an excellent heat protectant. I think that silicone oils get a bad rep when they are the one category of ingredient that makes my hair look significantly better. As long as I occasionally remove them with a clarifying shampoo, they keep my hair looking great and prevent tangling. I have included a photo of the ingredient list since none of the other reviewers captured the ingredients yet.

A heat protector that actually works
This heat protectant actually works. I was nervous at first, because in the past, I’ve experienced damage even when using heat protectant. I would say that one thing I noticed, was after one wash my hair was able to fully revert back to his original curl. Before the straightening process, I was able to be completely straight . I feel that a good protectant is a key to healthy hair, and this formula was not greasy or oily, or sticky at all.
