Works well as a mirror. The handle is nice and it’s really easy to use. It feels pretty sturdy too. My only word of caution is that if you get the high-magnification one (I got the 40x one), you need to hold the mirror up-close in order for it to focus.

It’s a great mirror which I recommend.
I love this mirror. True to image, no distortion. Hand held or stand alone are great features. It goes so well with my hunter green bathroom walls and it’s not too big to leave it standing on my marble top vanity. The touch of gold with green look very elegant. My fixtures are also gold. Great buy.

Now this is a product my mother was just ecstatic over. She just loved the way she could use it as a hand mirror or set it down on its base and it had a 30 power magnifier on the front and a regular mirror on the back she just loved it. This mirror was light and easy to prop up. You still have to get close to it to see what you are doing but the magnification is good for getting make up on or plucking. 20x is difficult to you and the field of view is very very small so 15x definitely works better for me.
