The worst mask I ever used
I usually try to do a face mask every other week because I feel like it helps keep my skin clean and looking its best.I wasn’t familiar with this brand, but I’ve used charcoal peel-off masks before and had good experiences with them, especially for removing blackheads. Because of that, I was excited to try this one.Unfortunately, this mask was a huge disappointment. It had a very strong, pungent chemical smell that immediately made my eyes water. The texture was extremely sticky and gooey, almost like tar or glue, which made it very difficult to work with. I had to scoop out a large amount and stretch it just to dab it onto my face, and even then it wouldn’t spread smoothly and left patchy areas.The mask also dripped constantly and wouldn’t stay in place. Even after leaving it on for over 30 minutes, it never dried and remained the same goopy texture. Removing it was a nightmare. It didn’t come off with a regular cleanser or even an oil-based cleanser. I tried scraping it off with my fingernails, which didn’t work, and using a dry paper towel only spread it around more.The only thing that worked was getting into the shower and scrubbing aggressively with cleanser and an exfoliating cloth. Even then, it stained my white bathtub and left behind hardened residue that was very difficult to remove once it dried.I am not a fan of this mask at all. It was messy, difficult to use, and extremely hard to remove. I ended up throwing it away and would not recommend it.

Very sticky
This mask has quite a strong chemical smell, but what put me off the most is how sticky it is. It’s so sticky that it’s practically impossible to put on with a brush, and therefore really hard to get a nice even layer on the skin.I’m glad I only put it on my T-zone area, as it was super hard to remove – it does not peel off easily, I ended up having to scrub it off with a towel, which didn’t make my skin feel very happy.If it were easier to apply and peel off this would be a great mask, but my experience left me feeling like I won’t be trying this one again.
