I loved this bamboo charcoal mask. It deeply cleanses the pores and really helps remove blackheads, especially on the nose. It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and peels off without any problems.

I’ve tried a few different deep cleansing masks and scrubs and despite being a bit skeptical, this one is one of my favorites. I don’t pesonally have an issue with blackheads, but I do have very noticeable pores and look for products that allows me to keep my pores clean without stripping my skin of essential oils – especially during colder, drier months of the year. This goes on easily (I scoop the amount I need and work from that with my fingertips to apply to the areas of my face I want to use it on) and for the most part, peels off in a single piece, deep cleaning my pores along the way. I also like that there isn’t an over powering scent of this product, which makes it a bit more enjoyable to use.

Hard To Peel : Big Mess
I tried it twice. The first time it didn’t peel or dry so I tried again and did a little thicker layer thinking it would be easier to grab to peel and left it on twice as long and it still didn’t dry or peel off. It dripped off my face, some places dried and other places were just goopy, this is after 45 mins of application. My skin does feel nice after I got it all off, but probably because I had to rub the top 3 layers of my skin off. I will not buy again and do not recommend unless you just like messy routines with your skin care.

Solid Nose Mask That Actually Works
Right out of the jar, this bamboo charcoal nose mask felt thicker and smoother than a lot of peel-off masks I’ve tried before. After about a week and a half of using it twice a week, I noticed my nose looking cleaner and less oily, especially around the sides where blackheads usually hang out. It spreads easily, doesn’t drip, and dries evenly without that super tight, uncomfortable feeling. When it’s time to peel, it comes off in one piece most of the time, which is oddly satisfying, and it actually pulls out visible gunk without leaving my skin red or irritated. The charcoal scent is mild and clean, not overpowering. A little goes a long way, so the jar should last a while. It’s not a miracle overnight fix, but with consistent use, it definitely helps keep pores looking clearer and smoother.

I washed and dried my face, then applied a thick, even layer over my nose and problem areas on my chin, avoiding any delicate skin. It removes in one steady sheet, pulling out a surprising amount of tiny, hair-like sebaceous filaments and debris from my nose.My skin was slightly pink for about 30 minutes afterward, so I followed up with a soothing moisturizer. It’s not a daily product—I use it once a week for maintenance. It doesn’t magically erase pores forever, but it gives a deeper, more noticeable clean than most wash-off masks I’ve tried.
