SUPER soft & excellent blending power— I’ve finally found my favorite sponges!
I love using these types of sponges to apply and blend liquid/cream foundation and concealer, but am not someone who is willing to shell out $20 for that name brand one.. (seriously, who are they kidding with that??!!) I’m not going to lie though, I have purchased one or two of them over the years (but NEVER at full price,, I swear!!) and while they do work well they aren’t markedly better than most of the other, cheaper store-brand ones I’ve tried. In my experience they are all pretty much the same and work just as well as the expensive ones, so long as they are the dense-foam kind that are super soft to the touch and expand a good amount when wet. (I’ve only ever had one that was a bit rough due to slightly larger micro-bubbles in the foam, and I really didn’t like it. All others have been basically the same regardless of price or brand.)SO. That being said, these sponges are really excellent!! I think they are the softest ones I have ever used, and they blend my makeup flawlessly. There’s no weird smell, they’re an excellent price and they come with a nice little case for storage. They’re also super quick & easy to clean/wring out, and when wetted they expand into bouncy little pillowy marshmallows, providing a beautiful, airbrush-like finish (at least when used with liquid products, which is all that I use them with. I can’t really speak to stick or powder formulations.) And unlike some other brands, the bright colors don’t leech dye, which is a total dealbreaker for me and HAS happened (yes, even with the $20 ones..) I’ve been bouncing around for YEARS trying to find a brand of these that I really love and I think I’ve finally found them!

I was looking more for a bigger sponge but these are mini in size. I think they could possibly be ok but I am returning.
