This cleanser does absolutely everything it claims. Just like their floride free toothpaste. I don’t need to keep searching for a face cleanser, that’s for sure! What used to be nothing but a chore and disappointment (washing my face), has turned into a very pleasant experience. It is creamy and gentle as can be. Rinses off very nicely. I notice no scent. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I am hooked.

Gentle cleanser for irritated skin
I’ve been a fan of Burt’s Bees for a long time. Generally, I think their products are of a good quality and made with trustworthy ingredients. Since they were purchased by the Chlorox company, I’ve not been quite as delighted as I’ve seen some of the ingredients go downhill, but still do like the brand. I decided to try this cleanser after catching poison ivy this summer. Normally, I use a retinol-based face scrub, but wanted something extra gentle for the irritated skin. Overall, I liked it and have continued to use the product even after the rash cleared up. Here are some more details and thoughts:• This product isn’t tested on animals – It comes with the Leaping Bunny certification, which is the gold standard to ensure neither the finished product nor ingredients are tested on animals. As a lifelong animal lover, this is the single most important factor in my choice for cosmetics and most other products, too. I was very happy to see this Burt’s Bees cleanser bore the symbol.• National Eczema Association Seal – While I don’t suffer from eczema, when I was looking for products to care for rashy, itchy skin, seeing this seal made my choice much easier.• Extra-creamy formula – This cream-based face wash is, as advertised, extremely creamy! It feels more like a lotion than a wash. My skin feels very hydrated and soft after washing. However, the creamy formula can be a little difficult to rinse off and may leave a sticky residue. I’d recommend this for people like myself who have naturally dry skin, as those with oily skin may be overwhelmed by the moisture.• Skin-barrier safe – The cleanser won’t strip moisture or damage your skin barrier, which is important if you have a skin condition, acne, or even just irritation. It can be used twice a day without causing problems.• Non-foaming – Personally, I like a nice foamy cleanser, so wasn’t thrilled about this not foaming up, but if you prefer a non-foaming one, you’ll like this. It certainly isn’t as messy as the foamy varieties.Overall, this is a good product for daily use. I’d recommend it for teens and adults with dry or combination skin, as well as those who need a little extra tender loving care due to skin conditions. The cost is quite reasonable and the bottle lasts several weeks with twice daily use.

I have very sensitive skin and I have been using this cleanser forever. It is gentle and I feel good using it. I always feel clean and fresh and not covered in unnecessary products. I also use the face cream! Win, win!

Great products
I use only Burt’s Bees products. I am a women over 70 and have always taken care of my skin. Burt’s Bees is the best I’ve ever used. The price is affordable, it’s gentle on my skin. I can’t say enough good things about it. I even use Burt’s Bees dry shampoo for my Cat, Henry. It is safe for him and his vet agrees. His coat is silky smooth. I love Burt’s Bee’s. I love that I can get these products from Amazon.

Rich & Creamy
This is not what I was expecting. I think it would be ideal for someone with dryer skin. I would have liked for it to suds up, even just a little. My skin doesn’t feel clean or refreshed. Not a bad product, but it isn’t what I like … just a personal preference.

Really great. Doesn’t smell, washes off well and cleanses your face without leaving it dried out. You also don’t need much. I wash my face every other day so it lasts for a very long time. Only downside, it doesn’t degrease well. However, just wash your face with a warm rag first to get the skin and grease off first. Then scrub this in. I still Highly recommend.TOP TIP: follow up with some organic witch hazel (I use Thayer’s brand, unscented) to leave your face moisturized. That’s how I make it 2 days without needing to remoisturize, even in summer. It may take 2 applications if you have really dry skin but it works well. Don’t forget to drink water! It’s the best moisturizer you can get!
