Feels nice, but didn’t tighten pores
I’ve always had large pores and hoped the claims promising smaller pores would be true. For me, unfortunately they were not. Initially, I was impressed by the texture and feel of the mask. Once on, it doesn’t dry crumbly. I’ve attached a photo of it after it dried. It mostly sinks into skin. I waited 20 minutes then removed with a cool damp cloth. I did notice that my skin felt good as I began my serum and skincare routine after, but unfortunately I didn’t notice any pore shrinkage. I included an after photo that shows my normal large pore skin, after I took this off. It says to use this twice a week, and this was after my second use in four days. I’ll keep using it and will update this review if I do notice any improvement in pore size.

Offers The Best Of Both Worlds In Regards To Moisturization & Pore Cleansing
Honestly, I have to admit that with this being so reasonably priced at $13.49 (today’s price) for a 4.06 ounce jar, I really wasn’t expecting all that much from this clay mask. Assumed it was one of those clay masks that are more like a mud that when dries, cracks and flakes all over the place. Not so at all. In fact, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that this is a perfectly balanced facial mask that is ideally suited for my mature combination skin. It’s more like a blend between a mud clay mask with one that is more oil based meant to provide lots of extra moisturization. So to me, this provides the best of both worlds. It’s a very pale light blue that feels a little bit like a mud mask, but is lighter in weight. Goes on easily and you do not need to coat your face with a thick layer. A thin layer will do just fine, so don’t go wasting product by building up a thick coating. Let it sit on freshly cleaned skin for a good 10-20 minutes or so. That should be sufficient time to fully dry. Then rinse off. You’ll need a clean cosmetic sponge or washcloth to do so to ensure you get it all removed. Easy enough.Once removed, the skin feels amazingly soft and smooth. It fully cleans the pores of excess sebum which is something that I still need to do from time to time due to the combination side of my complexion. Yet, it also provides moisturization which the mature side of my complexion definitely needs at this time of my life. It’s not heavy, but enough so that the mask does not dry out the skin. Leaves it feeling and looking clear and balanced. From there, continue with the rest of your regular skincare regimen. This mask is the perfect addition between your cleanser and whatever all you use to moisturize and condition your skin. It’s highly effective without causing any unwanted disturbances.Very good for all skin types and is just as effective for men as it is for women. Also quite good for all adult age groups, from teens to seniors. I would also highly recommend this to those with problematic skin for a more effective, yet safe cleansing.

Mask that fights acne and softens skin
I tend to get the occasional zit here and there, so I was happy to try something that could potentially prevent them. This clay mask came in a high-quality package and in a decent-sized jar. It included a cellophane-wrapped spatula to scoop the contents without putting your fingers directly into the jar.I used it twice in a week’s time. It smoothed on easily. I don’t recall any significant scent. I left it on each time for about 10 minutes and then washed it off using a washcloth to get every bit off. Once dried, my face felt a little tight, which I know I’ve felt previously with anti-acne treatments. It also felt very soft and clean.The one or two zits I had seem to be gone, and I haven’t developed any new ones. This mask seems to be a pretty good value for the amount of product you get. Using it a couple times a week, it should last me quite a while. I recommend this product.

Doesn’t dry out!
With clay masks, I frequently get zapped of all my moisture. This one has such a good balance, though and works well for my combo skin. I aprreciated that they have ingredients that combat oiliness and bacteria, I get breakouts sometimes, even well into my adulthood. But on top of that, they have moisturizers and peptides to heal while also moisturizing. Without stripping the barrier! There are a lot of peptides too, but they are at the bottom. To get their benefit, you will have to leave this on for a good hour. Otherwise, there is just not enough for them to be abosrobed in 15 minutes. Still a good mask and still a good value. My skin looks brighter and healthier since adding it into my weekly routine.

My Perfect Clay Mask
I absolutely love this clay mask! I’ve been searching for a high-quality and affordable option for a long time, and this one truly checks all the boxes.
