Easy, but a bit Smelly
I am not a skincare enthusiast so I don’t feel qualified nor exposed enough to this product to comment on the cosmetic effectiveness. I also think products like these require a long period of consistent use to truly see results. However, it is very easy to apply, absorbs quickly, feels smooth and pleasant to use, and doesn’t leave any residue or sticky texture. I also have very sensitive skin with eczema and haven’t noticed any issues with reactions. Of note, this does have quite a chemical-y scent.

Il existe finalement très peu de sérums à la vraie vitamine C (acide ascorbique) avec un pH bas, surtout en K-beauty. Celui-ci est le seul que j’ai trouvé avec une composition vraiment propre et bien pensée, notamment avec des stabilisateurs comme le glutathion ou les tocotriénols. Pour moi, c’est clairement une petite pépite.Le sérum s’absorbe extrêmement bien, la texture est agréable et légère. Il y a une petite odeur caractéristique de la vitamine C, pas forcément la plus agréable, mais je préfère largement ça à un produit parfumé.Autre bon point : il s’oxyde très peu. Il est resté blanc pâle pendant longtemps, ce qui est plutôt rassurant pour un sérum à la vitamine C pure.Seul petit bémol : la concentration à 13 %, qui reste un peu faible pour celles et ceux qui recherchent un effet très marqué.Mais globalement, c’est un excellent sérum, adapté à tous les types de peau, et assez rare dans sa formulation.

I went for this COSRX Vitamin C serum because I have used a number of other COSRX products recently, and am enjoying using them. I thought this serum would be a nice addition to my current routine. I have given it a few weeks before reviewing to give it a good chance and see what the results are.I can say that so far, after several weeks, I haven’t seen a great deal of difference. It’s nice to use and does leave my skin feeling soft, however I can’t say as I’ve noticed a drastic difference. To caveat that, I look at my skin every day and a gradual change isn’t as noticeable, so if there has been a small improvement I’m less likely to notice because it’s happened over time. There definitely isn’t a sudden, visible impact.The included leaflet does also indicate the product should be kept in the fridge, and used within 2 months of opening. If this is correct, the serum will be past it’s best well before the contents can be completely used. And if kept in the fridge, I would entirely forget to use it!While it has been nice enough to use, due to the lack of noticeable difference, need to be used quickly, and relatively high price (at the current price of £21 for 20ml) of around £1 per ml, I don’t think I would repurchase it.
