If you think your skin was clean just using soap, think again. It removes the dirt and grime that is left behind, you will be surprised.

Leaves my skin feeling clean and dry – but the soap smells weird
For background, I have moderately oily skin but I don’t have much of a problem with facial acne. I get occasional pimples and issues with blackheads, but it isn’t a constant thing.This foaming product makes for a nice facial cleanser, and I’ve been using it daily since I got it. I think it definitely is helping with the appearance of blackheads and oily skin. The bottle has a nice foam pump and is easy to use. The bottle is also durable (I accidentally dropped it on the tile and it didn’t fly apart like some products I’ve had). The soap is meant to be fragrance free and alcohol free. I like that it feels very gentle on my skin (even on open or raw areas, the cleanser didn’t cause any burning sensation).However, the “fragrance free” part is perhaps a problem. I normally prefer fragrance free soaps and detergents, etc. But this cleanser has a really strange and moderately unpleasant scent. It reminds me of the smell of some cheap unscented hand sanitizers. I can’t put my finger on what the cleanser smells like, but I don’t care for it. Thankfully, it doesn’t linger and when the cleanser is rinsed off, the smell is gone. This is one situation where maybe adding a tiny bit of fragrance would have helped me like the cleanser a little more. Perhaps a little bit of cucumber scent or something else would be more refreshing. Instead, I’m wrinkling my nose a bit when I use it.I can’t speak to all of the ingredients, but I am a believer in witch hazel for skin and I think this stuff is definitely good for your skin if you use it in moderation. So for that reason, I’m pretty happy with it. I would recommend it, but I hope they can tweak their formula a little so it doesn’t smell so off-putting.

Acne Wash that Works!
My daughter has struggled with acne so when I saw Dickinson’s, I knew we had to try this. And boy oh boy, this did not disappoint. I bought her the foam cleanser and the exfoilating bubble toner and when I say it really helped her skin, I mean it. The thickness and consistency of both products were luxurious and the scent minimal. The cleanser removed makeup well and also kept skin super clean. The products did not dry out her skin and helped with her breakouts. Dickinson’s is a name we all know and trust and I will keep buying these for her!

Gentle and effective
This cleanser is great for my teen’s acne. It removes oil nicely without being too harsh or abrasive. Compared to some other acne products, this one has much less irritating ingredients. It doesn’t have any alcohol, which can make acne so much worse by overdrying. It has tea tree oil, which is very soothing and has antibacterial properties for helping to heal spots. It also has niacinamide , which is great for supporting the skin’s barrier- something that a lot of other acne products can destroy. This is a great product for daily use, and I trust the quality of the Dickinson’s brand.

Dickinson’s Acne Facewash
My 14 year old daughter has been using this in conjunction with the Dickinson’s foaming toner.It’s easy to use and she likes the foaming function. She does not wear makeup, so we cannot attest to this cleanser removing makeup.We have seen improvement in her acne since using this cleanser with the matching toner. The kind of acne she has are small pimples on her forehead.We will reorder when she runs out.
