Cleans well, but I expected more texture and lather.
I have mixed feelings about this exfoliating face scrub. When I think of a face scrub, I expect more texture, but this powder is ultra-fine. I have to be careful with it because even a slight hand movement or breeze can cause the powder to disperse.I placed a small amount in the palm of my hand and added a little bit of water, but it didn’t create any lather, so I added more powder. After several tries, I wasn’t able to achieve a soap-like lather, but I still used the mixture to wash my face.After washing, my skin looked clean, smooth, and naturally glowing. I didn’t experience any allergic reactions, and I’ll continue using this product because it does cleanse my face; it just doesn’t provide the level of scrubbing or lather I expected.I didn’t notice any strong scent, which is a plus.

Nice gentle face scrub!
Exfoliating Face Scrub with Turmeric and Vitamin C by Pop Modern is a nice exfoliating scrub. It doesn’t have a lot of grittiness to the product but my face feels very smooth and exfoliated after using this. I tend to have sensitive skin and this product has not caused any irritation at all. I only use it about twice per week, and I use it after washing my face with my regular face wash. It has a few little holes in the top so that you can gently shake out the powder you need and not spilling a lot more than you need. The top of the bottle has little points that fill the holes where the product comes from, which keeps the product from spilling out. I think this is also a good value of less than $10 for this product. A little bit of product goes a long way and I anticipate I’ll be able to use the face scrub for quite some time, probably I’ll get about a years worth out of it. Not bad!

A bottle that needs to stay dry while you wet your hands
Compliments: it is a decent cleanser, leaves you skin feeling soft and smooth, has a nice lemony smell, and does an alright job.Criticism: it’s not much of a scrub, the powder just incorporates with the water and has minimal exfoliating effect. There is not much of a lather either. I find that I do not reach for this as a daily cleanser because of the hassle of it being in powder form. You need to wet one hand so the powder stays there when dispensed. It’s just going to blow off a dry hand unless a careful trickle of water is added. Furthermore, if you have white marble countertops on your vanity, you have to be careful to clean up quickly since the fine powder spreads and could stain your vanity if it finds water (it will!) and is left unnoticed.Overall, the product does work as a cleanser, but the form factor is just a hassle. I would rather have a liquid or pad without worrying about lightly dusting surfaces with a product which may stain.

Versatile and unique powder – just add water
This is a nice and different concept that uses powder that you wet which turns into a foamy scrub. It can get a little messy if you put too much powder in your hand at once so start slowly and then just add more if you need. It does a great job of exfoliating the dead skin and leaving a healthy glow. After rinsing, face does look brighter and feels squeaky clean. It has great ingredients to include turmeric, vitamin C, and aloe vera which all help to give you a nice glow even out skin tone and hydrate. The foam cleanses well and feels good on the skin. It did not cause any irritation and it’s a nice scrub to use 1 to 2 times a week. You just pour a small amount into your wet hands and add more water until you get a nice foam. Then gently massage the lather onto your face with circular motions. It has a nice texture that is fine and not sandy or gritty to cause discomfort. This is a good value as a little goes a long way. It’s great for using on the face or body where you need to exfoliate. If using on your body, you can also just add it to your shower pouf for a gentle exfoliation.

When using this cleanser as directed, it lathers a little but not as much as I expected. It also had some tiny clumps when I was trying to foam it up. It wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the cleansing experience felt more like using a basic soap.For my skin personally, I would probably stick with the cleanser I’ve already been using since it seems to work better for me. That said, this type of powder cleanser could work well for someone with more sensitive skin since it feels fairly gentle.One thing I do like about it is how travel-friendly it is.
