What’s the difference between the Pre-Wash Hair Oil and Amla Soothing Serum?
The Amla Serum is a lightweight prewash serum formulated to soothe and hydrate sensitive, itchy scalps. The Pre-Wash Hair Oil nourishing treatment formulated to help repair and strengthen the hair and scalp.
How often should I use?
You can use as often as you like, but we recommend using it at least once a week to see results in reducing scalp itchiness and flakiness.
Can I use it as a leave-in treatment?
We recommend using as a pre-wash treatment only on the scalp.

Excellent product
Hands down my favorite oil (I also prefer it to the Holi Roots oil from the same brand, which felt too heavy and greasy) ! This has to be the first oil that I am using so consistently that the bottle is almost finished. The scent is fine (be warned that it might take a bit getting used to for some), it makes my scalp feel soothed and my hair really nourished without weighing it down. I usually leave it overnight and wash my hair in the morning. It is a bit on the expensive side but on the plus side, one can actually use it unlike some of the $10 oils one finds on amazon with high ratings.

Great For Dry Scalp
I love this product! I noticed a huge difference in my scalp feeling relieved since I started using it. My scalp was getting dry and itchy by hair wash day so I decided to try this product and it’s made a world of a difference. I use a derma roller to really make sure my scalp absorbs it and the itchiness is now gone. Thank you!

Wonderful Serum and Scent
This hair serum has a nice slip and texture but my favorite part is the smell. It’s easy to add this to a beauty ritual just because I look forward to the smell alone. This goes for all the fable and mane products really. Beautiful scent and works as it says.

It’s good so far.
I just received my oil. I didn’t experience any burning and it’s too soon to tell about how affective it is but the smell is tolerable. It’s nothing to write home about but it’s not over powering like the other oil this brand sells. I do love the smell of the leave in conditioner that this brand sells. So I guess it’s just a hit or miss depending on what you’re getting.

Consistent and routine with the amount you use for your hair density.
Overall decent hair oil. Smells nice, but you have to figure out the right amount for your hair or it will end up too heavy. It does wash out nicely though. Works best at night, with a bonnet or hair wrap, I did it with dry hair for best results.

Have used once a month for 3 months and have found it to reduce dry scalp and dandruff. After each use, dandruff appears less and less between washes. Smell can linger after washing, but not super strong. Washes out easily.

A dry scalp is a relatively new problem for me, so I’m on the lookout for good quality hair products which will help (and certainly not add to the problem!). I really liked this oil. I didn’t leave it on overnight as suggested, but for about 5 hours during the daytime when I could be at home.The oil is not as viscous as I expected so I had to use more than suggested, and spend some time really working it in through my hair to feel like it was in contact with my scalp all over. I washed it out with shampoo (one wash) and followed with conditioner on the ends – my hair felt very soft and my scalp refreshed and clean.The scent is quite strong but it’s a very natural one with essential oils. I’m not sure I would use this overnight because of oil on pillowcases, so it’s going to be a product I use when I have time during the day to let it sit and do its work. The packaging is really lovely. A luxury item, worth the time.Edited to add: on the second day after using the oil and then washing, by which time dry patches would normally have returned, I have significantly fewer dry patches – so for me, it works!
