Affordable, reliable cleanser.
I have extremely oil-prone skin and my hair is also greasy and in my face a lot. Thus I’m surprised a cleanser marked ‘mild’ seems to have done the trick; I only needed two small splotches to cover my entire damp face, and it lathers up and spreads effectively all over and even down my neck. I ended up applying this fresh after shaving and hadn’t noticed a small cut until rubbing this into it; no big deal but some mild cleansers I feel no burn at all on a cut, on this, I can tell it was doing something.The bottle by size seems like it probably is a full 5.3 oz and at $13 after tax and shipping it’s not a bargain brand but it’s on the lower cost side of normal.The ingredients are well known ones. It takes a few splash and rub rounds to wash off, and afterwards, my skin feels tight in that good ‘just cleaned’ way. The calming ingredients (Centella and Ceramide) are effective; there’s less redness than before I washed my face, and usually I expect redness after a cleansing wash. Usually I apply another serum or moisturizer right after a cleansing but for review purposes I waited an hour; to me the fact that I still had that very clean and tight feel with nice tight pores is a plus, but I know some hate that feeling. I just love not having any gross oily shine. And yet my skin didn’t feel stripped and there was zero flakiness whatsoever (sometimes a cleanser sloughs off enough skin it’s a little flaky after–not this one).From then on I did do my usual serums and moisturizers afterwards and they absorb well into the cleaned base.Don’t let the ‘mild’ fool you; if anything, ‘mild’ might be applying to the moisturizing aspect. This’ll work well for you oily people like me who find overzealous moisturizing to be counter productive and want your cleanser to CLEAN. This’s a good Old Reliable to keep on hand and the price’s affordable for just that.

Pleasantly surprised
I am always a little leery of these kinds of “mystery brand” cosmetic and toiletry products from China, though it doesn’t stop me from trying them out. I am not sure if this product is supposed to be a knockoff of another brand, but once I put it in my shower, it looks very suspiciously like the packaging of a “bliss” brand face scrub I just so happen to have. So, right off the bat I was amused that this tube of face wash color coordinated with my existing brand name item.The “Yufot” face wash exceeded my expectations. I have 48 year old skin that is both prone to dryness and zits. I have to be careful with what I wash my face with as it will flare up one problem or the other. Lately dryness has been a real problem with me if I take a shower that is anything more than lukewarm. Anywhere hot water touches my face, it sucks the moisture out and becomes rough. I found that this face wash was very moisturizing and soothing to my face. And it smells nice, kind of pineapple-y. I use my hands only to apply and pre-lather by rubbing my hands together to make a light foam. It is not a very soapy wash, so you do not get big bubbles.I also am pleased that I did not experience eye irritation when using this face wash, in spite of the fact I vigorously used it around my eye area to remove makeup. It seems to do a decent job at removing makeup though when it comes to certain eyeliner there always seem to be some remnant left over, no fault of this wash. Overall, I feel that this is a well-formulated product which so far has not spurred any allergic reactions (if there were any lavender in it, I would be in trouble, but there seems not to be.) I am a smooth faced happy customer.

Gentle, hydrating cleanser that doesn’t dry out skin
I’ve been using this cleanser for a bit now, and it’s really gentle while still feeling like it actually cleans your skin. It has a smooth texture and a light lather, but it doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped or dry.I like that it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and balanced instead of tight. It’s simple, but it works. The niacinamide and zinc seem to help a little with oil control too, especially in areas where I tend to get shiny. I’ve also noticed my skin looking a bit brighter with continued use.The smell is also really nice, clean and subtle, not overpowering at all.It’s just a good everyday cleanser that does what it’s supposed to do, and a little goes a long way so the bottle should last. Overall, a solid option if you want something gentle and easy to use daily.
