Protects My Over-Processed Hair!
I’ve been using another brand of Moroccan Oil for years to help protect my hair from damage caused by use of color-treated products, hot rollers and flat iron. Unfortunately, it’s out of stock occassionally and other brands I’ve tried leave my hair feeling heavy, and sometimes greasy – but not this product! It’s very similar to what I use … making my hair feel lightweight, not sticky or oily, plus, it has a lovely scent. I haven’t used it long enough to see if it helps with split-ends and breakage, but I feel confidant this is a WIN and my new ‘go to’ back-up.

Really happy with this hair oil (just understand it’s limitations)
I really like this hair oil. I use it after I’ve finished styling my curls to add a shiny, protective finish. It spreads very nicely and doesn’t get heavy or greasy. It smells nice and doesn’t run out too fast. Despite using it regularly and couple of a week for several months, I’m not even 25% through the bottle. I can’t attest to it healing any damage / split ends because I do a lot to prevent them in the first place (mostly trimming and avoiding heat), but also – damage can’t really be repaired so much as slowed from progressing. But I wouldn’t take a star away from advertising that when practically everything advertises that. I currently plan on re-purchasing it when I run out.

Soft frizz control and hydration that is not sticky
This hair oil feels very silky; the dimethicone gives the formula a nice slippery texture. It is a thin, easy to distribute formula that really seems to melt into my hair.Initially it feels like it would be greasy, but it is not at all! The hair oil gave my curls hydration that does not weigh them down; I used two pumps (one per side), and I thought at first it would be too much considering how much slip it has, but it was the perfect amount! I applied it to my freshly washed, damp mids and ends, finishing with brushing it through my hair so some would reach my roots, but would mostly remain where my hair was driest. I do not think it would weigh down my roots much at all if I applied more there, but I really do not need that much moisture in that area. My ends looked a lot nicer, so much less crispy. As my hair dried it felt so soft, and defined my curls slightly while still being voluminous and light, without as much frizz as I see on days where I use no product at all in my hair.The oil does not have any discernible scent either, as far as my nose can tell.The amount in the bottle is quite substantial considering how much I need to use; it may be a little pricy, but I feel it is a nice treat.I wish I could open up the bottle itself though, it is a thick, heavy glass with a really nice pump mechanism and I would love to keep it once I have used all the product up. Just like a nice box or jar, I just can not bear to part with a nice bottle!

My new favorite!!
I use the number of different types of hair oil and I have a select few favorites. This oil has made it to one of my top favorites. I wanna start off with how luxurious is the bottle looks and feels, it’s glass and has a good weight to it. The oil itself is more of a dryer oil, so I don’t have to worry about it leaving my hair, looking or feeling greasy. It’s seriously smells amazing, like a luxurious perfume. And for the price you get a really good decent size bottle of the stuff. My hair is so soft and shiny and looks and feel so healthy. The scent lasts nearly all day too, I prefer scents so if you are sensitive to them, this may not be a great option for you

Nice but overpriced
The Oliphyra Moroccan Oil heat protection serum is a nice product. It has a good smell that doesn’t linger – strong scents can cause headaches for me, but I had no problem with this product.I used it on my thick, naturally curly hair before using a thermal brush to straighten it. It did a nice job adding shine. It was extremely oily on my hands – it was hard to get off after I was done.I have a ton of hair and it felt like it just soaked this product up. I had to keep getting more, which given the price point of this bottle adds up quickly. The good news is that my hair didn’t get too oily – even with all of the product I put on it.The bottle itself and its manufacturer packaging is very attractive, making it a good gift option.

Love this stuff!
Love, love, love this stuff. I was cursed with very fine hair which tends to be more prone to breakage and splitting. I apply this to my hair after its dry starting with my ends only, and then smoothing the excess over the surface of my hair.It completely eliminates frizz, keeps my ends neat and shiny, and doesnt feel heavy or greasy at all. I use it every day and it doesn’t seem to build up or weigh my hair down even between washes.The pump dispenser is easy and mess free, and a single pump is the perfect amount for my hair. So, while it is a bit pricey, a little bit goes a long way, and a single bottle should last a few months. The oil itself is thick like castor oil but not sticky or clingy at all, its very smooth and soft even on the skin, and distributes well and evenly in the hair.The smell is different. It reminds me of an older ladies perfume, but not in a bad way, and it’s very light and fades quickly. The bottle and packaging are beautiful and gold is so fitting for the product. Im so glad I found this and will most definitely repurchase before I run out.
