Instructions
Prior to mounting, clean surface with soap and water. Any dust or grime will prevent proper contact with the suction cup.
Your mirror uses an unique suction locking cup that is more powerful than a regular suction cup. It does not require any glue, tape or silicone. Check to make sure that the suction lock is not already engaged by twisting it counter-clockwise. Press the suction lock against the surface and activate the locking mechanism by twisting clockwise. Adding a little bit of moisture will also help to create a stronger suction.

Fantastic mirror!
This is my second purchase of this same mirror. The first one lasted for several years, even when the suction failed and dropped off my mirror. That happened several times, most likely due to my error in placement, but the mirror never broke. The final drop finally broke the mirror, but I keep ordering the same mirror because it is a fantastic design and just the right distance for over the sink in regards to leaning over to see in it. I have learn my lessson and I will just simply put a towel under it, so if it happens to drop, it won’t break.

Decent quality and results
I have found this to be decent quality and does what it says. It sticks to the mirror fine. You do have to be a certain distance from the mirror to see the magnification, but this is true for any magnification mirror. The distance works well when putting the mirror on the vanity mirror and extending it out. No problem. The light is good too and haven’t had to change the batteries yet.

As an ageing female human being with all of wonderful symptoms of failing eyes, wrinkle aging facial appearance, even going as far as purchasing a few anti aging creams, i found myself often looking with concern at my face.This little mirror has delivered many things I value in a product, that sadly is becoming harder and harder to find. Jiben is offering a great product with a excellent price point, well thought design and even a couple of added perks. such as the on/off switch is located in a spot that while holding the device only a minute movement of where you fingers are is that switch, the suction cup and flexible arm are very sturdy and of quality material. The daylight light effect from the LED light is amazing along with the 10x magnification.NOW BACK TO PARAGRAPH ONE: Yikes!! I am amazed and have never seen a truly horrifying vision of my old skin. Off to shop facial moisturizers. Its a good mirror. MIRROR MIRROR ON MY WALL 🙂

Great magnification, light is awesome, suction failing after 4 years
This is the best makeup mirror I have owned so far. I have it mounted on the mirror of my bathroom medicine cabinet. I swivel it up and out of the way when not in use. The magnification is a little scary – you see every little flaw in your face. The light is great. The suction cup is sturdy – locks into place with a twist of the base.UPDATE 2025. It was great while it lasted. After 4 years, the suction cup is not holding as long. I tried resetting it periodically, but that did not work. When it falls, it makes a startling noise. It has not broken from the falls, but I plan to replace it with a stand mirror. A wall mount is not practical in my rental place.

Really? Someone designed it to be this floppy?
I’m used to a 5x, mounted, round, extending mirror, but this suction-cup, battery-operated product looked like a good alternative, being in a place where drilling into the drywall isn’t an option.It’s not a replacement for that.It’s smaller, convex, and has a 3AA-powered light. The mirror, simply because it’s convex and not flat, has a touch of fun-house-mirror effect if you aren’t in the absolute-perfrct distance from it. Seems like most folks are attuned to that.The suction cup design seems amazing. I’ve never seen one work so well on glass.The problem with it, and why I’m returning it, is that its bendable arm has no significant ability to hold the mirror in place. This is illustrated in the video I posted.You can position the cup up high and that might allow it to flop to the position you’re hoping for, but I find that too ineffective.Looks like it might work for some, I definitely need more.

10x magnification is so great for makeup application!
I had another mirror like this that was circular. I am way more fond of the square one as I feel like I can see everything in it. You can get very close to get your eyelashes just perfect. As for the “funhouse” mirror effect that others have mentioned, I haven’t had that problem at all. If you look at it from the side, you may get that effect? It is meant to be looked at straight on, especially since it is a 10x mirror- meant to get up close and in your business. It’s perfect for putting on your makeup and knowing you got it just right, even if no one else will ever get that close.Make sure to put this up higher like others have said, so it kind of hangs down from your mirror. The suction is great, I have had zero problems with it coming off the mirror, and I move it around to different angles all the time for application of my makeup.
