Sheer blushes but brilliantly beautiful
I’m a long time Korean cushion foundation user. I don’t think I still own a foundation that’s NOT a Korean cushion type. So a cushion blush is simply GENIUS. But there’s definitely a reason I love the sheerness of this shade of blush (Odd Mauve). Not to brag but I’m in my late 60s and people mistake me for someone in their 40s all the time. I’m also a Korean skin care addict and the proof is in the pudding that’s for sure. I’ve used Korean skin care exclusively for 3 decades now. And I’ve had zero plastic surgery or any kind of laser treatment, etc. I’ve just used whatever the latest Korean skincare innovation has been for 30 years. I’m pretty sure it started with SK-II but equally excellent Korean products have become so much more affordable now. But whatever Korean film stars have been doing, I’ve been doing too. Have you ever watched a Korean film? The women have INCREDIBLE SKIN and their makeup is just as amazing. Enter Jung Saem Mool, who is one of Korea’s top muas. She has worked in the Korean film industry for decades and is known for her specific style of makeup. It’s a very natural look but it enhances the best features just enough but still gives balance to the face. Her main thing is skin. While I’ve tried dozens of cushion foundations over the years, and I do like her Nuder cushion, it’s not my favorite (Amore Pacific is my #1 jam). But it is a good one if you want to find one on Amazon at an affordable price.I only want foundation to even my skin tone since my face is naturally darker than my neck. I don’t want foundation anywhere on my neck, it ruins my clothes. So I have to find an exact shade match of course. (This is often quite hard when buying online) I don’t want a very obvious blush look most days either. I want that “lit from within” look that Korean actors have. They are my makeup muses. (The Violette_fr blurring lipstick is the perfect lip look if you prefer a bullet lipstick.) I want a blush finish somewhere between dewy and matte. Not shiny because that’s a dead giveaway. And I don’t want obvious color either. My skin is cool so I stay in the cool toned blush lane. The Odd Mauve shade is ideal for my complexion and compliments most of my outfits. Here’s the kicker: this cushion blush is buildable. Let it dry down and then do another layer if it’s too sheer. You can do many layers if necessary. It can also tame an overly pigmented blush shade (Rare Beauty or Moira Cosmetics liquid blushes for example). Just tap the cushion blush over the pigmented blush and BAM! Problem solved.If you want to enhance your good skin, Korean cushion foundation is a must have. Yes some are far better than others. Some sold on Amazon are not really sold IN Korea at all but created solely for the American market. Watch out for these, they are a cash grab and awful. But Jung Saem Mool is the real deal. She has the creds to prove it. Her cushion blushes are fantastic but there’s a learning curve. Once you get the hang of using them you’ll love them.Odd Mauve and the Lavender shade are perfect for cool skin as is the Berry shade (berry is too dark for me). If you want beautifully sheer Korean eyeshadows check out the palettes by Rom&nd. They have a lot to choose from (more on YesStyle).I’d better end this review now. Hopefully it’s been helpful to someone.

The blush is sooo good!
I’ve become a huge fan of this makeup artist. I started with the cushion foundation and found the perfect match for my light/light medium olive skin in 21 W. If you’re olive skinned you know that incredible joy, so…I purchased the Rare Rose blush another good color match. It has a touch of warmth that works for my skin tone and I love the formulation. It’s lightweight, pigmented and buildable. It gives the most flattering glow that isn’t this heavy “please highlight my large pores” glow but is really unique.Super easy to apply and re apply. The formula is so airy and forgivable you can keep reapplying it without ever worrying and it isn’t scary like those super pigmented/staining blushes lol. If you need your blush to be super pigmented or staining you probably won’t like this one.

Surprisingly delightful!
I was surprised by how much I love this product! The applicator is fun and easy to use, the color is gorgeous and stays put throughout the day. Very buildable color, lightweight and fragrance free.

Good color but not worth the price
I love the color but be forewarned what you are buying is a pad soaked in tint. This is NOT a cream or powder blush. That said the amount of product you actually receive is very little and it seems to dry up quickly. Too bad because the color is very pretty (I tried two – peach and pink, liked both). The price is too high for what you receive and I likely won’t purchase again for that reason .

Awesome blush! I got bubbly pink and it’s so flattering! The “patting” application is so easy! Blends like a dream. I love that it’s pigmented enough to see but it still looks like a very natural flush. It also leaves a very subtle glow (not greasy at all). 10/10. Will buy other colors for sure.

Completely Colorless
I have fair skin, and this color, Odd Mauve, did not show up at all. It looked like absolutely nothing. The weird thing is that on their color chart, it shows Odd Mauve as being appropriate for cool deep skin tones. I can’t imagine this would show up on a darker skinned person if it didn’t show up on me. For reference here are photos with two colors of this blush compared side by side. The bottom is Blooming Pansy, and the top is Odd Mauve, taken outdoors in morning light and indoors in bright overhead light.

Perfect for natural looking blush
This is the third time I have ordered this blush because it is beautiful!!! It creates the effect of a natural blush. Other blushers look like clown makeup on me or make me look sallow because they are too orange because I am naturally rosy but in blue undertones. This color is truly for those whose seasonal analysis is winter or summer (that is who have cool toned skin). I do not look like I’m wearing blush and it is not a garish pink. It does create a perfect non makeup make up look. This product is not for those who like to look highly made up. I love the applicator because it has a semi-circular cut out which lets me bring the blush right to the top of my cheekbone and the bottom is pointed to bring the color down naturally under the cheekbones. So well designed! Love love love!
