Beware – Increased Sun Sensitivity
It looks like they group reviews for different products together, which in itself is a red flag, but as many are for the blackhead remover, just want to note that this is specific to the pore minimizer.That being said, it’s terrible. Mainly because it contains witch hazel, which in itself is fine, but they fail to tell you anywhere in or on the packaging that it causes extreme photosensitivity. I had been using it for a few days and was outdoors for a hour or two one weekend and got the worst sunburn on my face that I’ve ever had.I knew immediately when I first used the product that it had witch hazel as the smell is unmistakable, and the label confirms that Hamalelis is a primary ingredient, but it wasn’t until I did a little research (because the sunburn I got was not normal) that I found out that it makes you more sensitive to the sun.I won’t be using this any longer and don’t recommend it. If you do purchase it, be sure to use a very strong sunscreen if you’re planning on being outdoors for any length of time.
