I ordered this because I wanted a way to address surface debris without using a gritty scrub that might irritate my skin. This brand continues to exceed my expectations and it feels like a professional grade version of a wash off treatment, just at a much more accessible level. It’s a generous 6.1 oz bottle which is much larger than most exfoliators on the market so it’s an incredible value for how much product you actually get.When I use this on my dry face it immediately starts the balling up action as I massage it in. It uses a gommage texture, which essentially means it “erases” dead skin. The gel contains cellulose that clumps together as you rub, physically catching and rolling away surface debris. After rinsing, my skin feels much nicer and the texture is significantly smoother and less rough. It leaves a beautiful sheen behind that isn’t plastic looking, but almost like that glass skin effect K-Beauty is so synonymous with.The formula is packed with ingredients that target my specific concerns like dullness and loss of firmness. It’s formulated with snail mucin, which is amazing for skin repair and keeping things plump, along with Sodium Hyaluronate to help soften the look of fine lines. For my congested pores, the gommage action does the heavy lifting by clearing out surface oils. It also has Cica and Green Tea which are great for soothing any potential irritation or blemishes.It’s a relief to find an exfoliator that actually works to clear my uneven tone while leaving my face feeling revitalized. I’m really happy with how my skin looks and feels after just a couple uses.

This was unusable to me. I tried it with wet skin and with dry skin like the instructions said and it just stuck to me and my little baby facial hairs. I had to scrub with a washcloth and face soap to get it off. I had to throw it away.

Stings a bit, glue-like scent
This review is for Lebelage Collagen Peeling Gel 6.08 oz . It comes in flip top tube and is easy to squeeze out.The product has an opaque color and a gel-like texture. It is still easy to distribute evenly. It doesn’t have a very strong scent, but what I smell reminds me a bit of glue.The instructions on the tube advise to clean the face first, then “remove all the moisture”. I guess this is supposed to mean to dry the face, but poorly translated. Then you should apply this product, massage and rinse off.This overall works very well, but the product stings a bit on my cheeks. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but it is winter and my skin is a bit more demanding. The stinging sensation subsides immediately after rinsing it off and doesn’t leave behind any red patches. Rinsing the product off is extremely quick, I expected it to be a bit more sticky. My skin feels smooth and soft afterwards, but also a little taut and that means it needs moisture.Overall, I think this product is effective, but I personally won’t buy it again since it stung my face and I don’t really like the scent. I will use the remainder when it’s warmer and my skin is less sensitive.

Gentle collagen exfoliant
I’ve had good experience with other LEBELAGE products so was eager to try a new one from them! This Collagen Peeling Gel focuses on exfoliation, using a chemical formulation to help remove dry skin.The product comes in a squeeze tube with a flip cap, and has a generous 6.08 ounces of product. The gel is fairly clear with minimal fragrance, with a light, bouncy texture. The instructions on the product are slightly different than online (the product notes to wash your face first while online says to apply to a dry face) but I applied a light layer after patting dry and gently massaged in for a few seconds. t does feel a little strange at first as these are the residual dry/dead skin coming off your face, but I would describe it as slightly tingly and not painful. There is a little residual buildup that I imagine to be the dead skin cells that washed away cleanly. Afterwards, I made sure to apply the rest of my skincare routine after (serums, moisturizer, and SPF) and noticed that not only was my skin smoother and less textured, but it seemed to absorb the products better and more quickly.As this is an exfoliant, I wouldn’t recommend folks use more than once or twice a week, but it’s a great addition to your skincare routine, and one that’s fairly gentle with the addition of collagen in the ingredients. I’ll keep using regularly in mine as well as I appreciate its benefits in drier weather and how gentle it is. Very impressed with the price to quantity and quality of the product as well, and would recommend for anyone looking to improve their skincare!

Product use unclear but didn’t leave skin feeling good.
If you like this product, you’ll be pleased that this is a large bottle with plenty of gel. However, as someone who did not enjoy using this product, I’m not sure what to do with the rest after trying it a few times. I expected this to be a bit like a skin mask since it’s labeled as aa peeling gel, but it does not dry and peel off the same way as a mask might. Instructions were not 100% clear but I applied to clean dry skin. It was very liquidy and after it dried it was hard to remove. Not sure if it was the product or my skin peeling but it felt like I had dried ice cream on my face. It smells a bit like hand sanitizer. The second time I used it I was able to get rid of the sticky feeling with a wet washcloth, but it didn’t leave my skin feeling softer, more moisturized, smoother, or any positive results so I don’t think I’ll be incorporating this into my skin care again.
