If you’re fine with fragrance, this is a treat for maturing skin
One of my favorite serums. Milky, hydrating and NOT greasy. I love the fresh smell. It is strong, but has a light, clean smell, not a heavy perfume smell. It goes on right after my milky toner. I’m a combo, oily t-zone, normal elsewhere maturing skin person. It’s especially appreciated in the winter. I put a multi vitamin serum over it (B, C, E) and it blends beautifully. Moisturizer doesn’t pill. Don’t take a bath in it. Apply a squeeze on your cheeks and gently rub it in.

I recently started taking my skin care routine very seriously as I am aging. I started with Byoma using the spray, their milky toner, then hydrating serum. I ran out of the serum and wanted to keep exploring products cause I’m new to all of this. I decided to give this serum a try. I’ve only used it a few times since getting it but I already noticed that my skin does feel more hydrated compared to the Byoma serum. The smell is intense but good and it fades quickly but if you’re sensitive to smell it might be too much. Haven’t tried putting on make up yet. Will edit this with updates once I’m halfway done with the bottle. So far, so good. It definitely hydrates better than Byoma hydrating serum so if you’re choosing between different products, keep that in mind!

If your combination oily, this serum has no funny slimy ingredients, no silicone, for me this serum may be all I need. I like the Vichy Aqualia rich Thermal Facial Moisturizer for Dry Skin Face Cream Moisturizer with Hydrating Natural Origin Hyaluronic Acid Mineral 89 booster in the winter. The booster alone isn’t quite enough for my skin and the moisturizer helps if for sure , but for me that cream isn’t necessarily suitable for the day time under my spf. This serum is simple to apply as a’ finisher’ light lotion for me. This serum looks ‘milky’. MY current set: Clinique liquid soap (oily skin formula) , the ordinary reservatrol+ stack with the ordinary vitamin c powder +alpha arbutin /HA then finish with this Loreal collagen moisture filler. Add SPF. At night I like the Neogen black energy cream(a dense clear gelly formula, no butters but some astringent essential oils) . For me L’Oreal collagen Filler Moisture serum gives me even, smooth, no stretched /full pores, just soft hydrated feel. Effective nourishment for me even with the dry indoor heating my skin stays hydrated, pliable and smooth feeling all day long. I don’t look greasy mid morning. The formula seems pretty simple and stackable if this serum isn’t enough for dry skins. This is an ‘ALL SKINS’ type serum. Love the price point.

Today is 04/03, and I ordered this serum on 03/11. I wanted to give it some time before I gave my review on it. I honestly only have great things to say about it. My facial routine is pretty simple: cleanse, milky toner, serums, and then moisturizer(I work from home, so if I have to step out of the house during the day, then I incorporate SPF). I’m 34, and I’ve tried all kinds of serums, specifically collagen, from all kinds of brands. They all had one thing in common, that when I’d apply the moisturizer, my serum would not blend in with it AT ALL! It would clump up on my face and literally flake off as soon as it dried up. THIS ONE RIGHT HERE…. this thing is amazing. It smells very fresh, super creamy, and not oily at all. It blends SO well with anything I layer on top, even makeup. The picture I attached is what I use on a daily basis, twice a day, and my face feels SO GOOD!

only bought this because it was on sale, but I’m impressed by how my skin feels now. I’m no skincare expert, and since money is tight sometimes, I was looking for a serum under $10. Last time, I tried a Korean serum (Medicube Niacinamide), but to be honest, I wasn’t impressed. My skin is combination, and that serum didn’t help at all.I won’t say this new one changed my life, but it actually improved my skin’s appearance. If you’re looking for a cheap and effective serum, this is definitely a great option.
