Pure, Hydrating, and Reasonably Priced
My Majestic Pure Amla Oil arrived in a box sealed in plastic wrapping with an extra seal placed on the box itself. The box shows information about the product, a list of ingredients (only the Amla Oil), and instructions for use. The date of manufacture is 1/14/2026, and the expiration date is 1/13/2028 . The product itself is contained in a dark glass bottle that shows information similar to that shown on the box, including the dates of manufacture and expiration. The product is made in India. Also enclosed is a box that contains a dropper, and the dropper tube is wrapped in foam for protection.I was only looking for an oil to use on my face. Prior to trying it on my complexion, I first placed a small amount on the insides of my wrists to test for allergic reaction, and I experienced no adverse consequences. In trying it on my face, I used a small amount without the dropper, which is also a method of use noted in the instructions. It went on smoothly and has no odor. This was done to my face after cleansing and the use of a freshener. I followed up with my usual moisturizer. I had been using a serum, but this oil seems to be more hydrating than that much more expensive product. I was quite pleasantly surprised by it, frankly, and look forward to using it in the future. I find India to be a reliable producer of products, being that many medications or ingredients contained in medications are produced there. I am definitely impressed with the quality of this product and its packaging, including the dark glass bottle. There is a large amount of product, and the price seems more than reasonable.I am happy to recommend Majestic Pure Amla Oil to anyone in search of a high-quality product that is reasonably priced and provides maximum hydration without a lot of unfamiliar ingredients. The dark glass bottle is ideal for storage, and the product, which is unscented and lasts until I wash my face in the evening, makes my elderly skin look smooth with minimized lines. Frankly, I am amazed at how quickly it has made a difference in my appearance. I feel it is an excellent product that will henceforth become part of my daily skincare routine.

Smooth and silky when applying. Very light smell, almost none. Skin feels soft
Please note: I had never heard of or tried Amla oil prior to this. I saw it was good for hair/skin and decided to give it a try.***PROS:—1) Easy to apply and rub in -It’s a thinner oil – similar to a fractionated coconut oil. Maybe a tad thicker. So, you don’t need a lot to spread all over your skin.—2) Smooth, silky quality – once applied to the skin/face, it’s soft and smooth. My face feels so soft and hydrated afterwards and it lingers for a long time. Love the way my skin feels.—3) The included dropper makes application easy. It does drop fairly quickly, so be ready for that.—4) Slight, soft odor – it’s pleasant and not overpowering. It seems to dissipate fairly quickly because I only smell it for a moment when applying it to my face. The smell reminds me of a very soft and more subtle scent of castor oil – very soft.—5) I am still testing it on my hair to see if I have the results it shows in the stock photo. Time will tell. It’s easy to apply and from what I can feel, it seems like my hair ends seem softer.***CONS:—1) I wish it included some sort of directions for usage, especially when using it on the hair. It doesn’t state if you should put it in your hair daily or a few times a week, apply to wet/dry hair, apply and shower or leave it in all day, just to the scalp or on the ends or both, etc. I had to Google how to properly use it. And, I am experimenting.——–If my viewpoint changes after I have posted this review, I will edit and update it.

Indian gooseberry oil to help with hair health
Amla oil is derived from the “Indian gooseberry” and is a supposed remedy for dandruff, strengthens hair, and promotes scalp health. It can also be used on the skin on other parts of the body to mositurize. I found it to have a nice texture, not too “greasy” and it felt very moisturizing. My skin wasn’t tight after washing my face and applying. I also didn’t notice any irritation after having used it for a couple of days, and I have very sensitive skin. Amla oil is sometimes described as having a strong, earthy scent, but I didn’t really notice much of a smell to it; I would guess this would make it a good carrier oil to dilute essential oils for topical use.

lightweight, distributes evenly on skin
I ordered the Majestic Pure Amla oil to use as a carrier oil on my very dry legs. I’ve tried almost every dry skin lotion on the market and before the end of the day my legs are already flaking. This oil is lightweight and distributes evenly on my skin as I tested just a few drops on the top of my hands. It does have a faint scent similar to argon oil so I intend to add a drop of Majestic Pure Lavender essential oil per quarter sized puddle in palm of hand. The seller, Majestic Pure has some contradictory info for instructions. The product itself on both the bottle and box says “Take a small amount into palms or apply directly to skin or hair” but below under the Important information the directions say “Always dilute before use. Do not apply to the skin directly. Use with a carrier oil for aromatherapy, massages, and hair care (to control hair fall).” Since this IS the carrier oil I expect they meant to caution you about using full strength essential oil (which they also sell) directly on skin or hair? I have already applied directly to my skin without any adverse reaction. This is made in India and is possibly the most impressive packaging I’ve seen: the outside of box was shrink wrapped in plastic, the box also has a safety seal and the dropper is in a separate box inside with a foam roller over the glass. The product I received has an expiration date of Jan 2028.
