An Excellent Lightweight PDRN Serum for Daytime — Especially If You Want Glow Without Heaviness
At 52, post-menopausal, with dry, increasingly sensitive skin, I’m always looking for products that improve overall skin quality without overwhelming my skin. I’ve also been using more PDRN-based products lately, and while I don’t expect topical skincare to perform like in-office treatments or injections, I do look for formulas that support smoother, healthier-looking skin over time. This serum fits that role extremely well.I already use the original Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum, and I love it for nighttime. It’s a little more substantial and works really well as part of my evening routine. The Ultra Light version, however, is perfect for daytime — especially when I want hydration and glow without any heaviness.The first thing that stands out is the texture. This really is ultra lightweight. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and disappears into the skin without leaving any film. There’s no stickiness, no tackiness, and absolutely no pilling — even when layered with sunscreen and makeup. That alone makes it ideal for daytime use.What I appreciate most is the glass skin glow it gives. This isn’t a dramatic overnight transformation, and it’s definitely not comparable to PDRN injections — but that’s not what I expect from a topical product. Instead, this works more as a maintenance and skin-quality serum. Over time, my skin looks smoother, more hydrated, and healthier overall. It’s the kind of improvement that makes your skin look consistently great.This is also an excellent option for warm weather or humid climates. Because it’s so lightweight, it doesn’t feel heavy or suffocating on the skin. It layers very well under moisturizer and sunscreen, and I’ve had no issues using it in the morning.Another thing I appreciate is how well this fits into a routine with other products. I use a mix of Korean skincare, devices, and more active treatments, and this serum plays nicely with everything. And honestly, those are often the products that earn a permanent place in my routine.

Medicube stuff – my Fav!
I am yet to be disappointed by any of Medicube stuff. So, they get an automatic 5 stars on all their stuff. And I have and use almost all of their stuff. And when I run out, I order more. And highly recommend them. Feel great, smell great, and give great results. This one seems a lot lighter than the thicker version I used before and I am excited to start using it as I think it will penetrated better and faster.

I bought this thinking it was the original PDRN serum and boy is it a scam you get 3 times as much and they call it “light weight formula” it’s literally water it’s not a serum at all. Don’t buy it.

Heavenly Perfection in a bottle!
Where do I start with this little cute bottle. I tend to be drawn towards products that both look cute and provide benefits. While I do have a retinol serum from this company, retinol is kind of more wrinkle fighting which is its claim to fame, but lately PDRN has started to fill the skincare airwaves. And what is PDRN you ask? Salmon DNA, and that’s benefits are skin firming, evens unbalanced skin tones/hyperpigmentation, and promotes cell turnover just to name a few benefits. I was kind of hesitant to be honest because…you know it’s salmon DNA. I thought what is the world coming to with skincare, it’s kind of like snail mucus (Haven’t quite been ready for that one yet). But hey what do I know I know. Both PDRN and snail mucus are popular in Korean products and honestly I have pretty much ditched American products because Korean products are just way better. Anyway…back to the product I have been using it for close to a week I believe and am absolutely loving it! Probably going to ditch the retinol and op to using this one everyday, because it is super lightweight (I loath heavy products) and absorbs quickly into the skin providing instant hydration and glow and I have found it to be a good primer before you put on your makeup something about it really keeps my foundation on longer. As you can see in the photo it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin and leaves my face with a subtle dewy appearance. If you are looking to find a great serum I would say this would be a solid buy it’s effective and not the most expensive serum out there. I plan to venture more into this company and their products after having such a positive experience with this one. Plus the pink in the frosted glass look’s beyond cute. Gonna become a great addition to my skincare routine.

Lightweight Glow Serum That Layers Beautifully
This is another great product from medicube. I have used several products from this brand over time, and they consistently seem to work well with my skin type, which is why I keep coming back to them. This serum has been another good fit for me. Compared to the regular version I have tried, this one feels more lightweight, though both seem to give me very similar results. I personally prefer this one for spring and summer and for daytime use because the texture is lighter, absorbs quickly, and sits really well under my CC cream or foundation.Like the original, this gives my skin that healthy glass skin glow that I really enjoy. I have been loving PDRN as a staple in my routine because it helps my skin look more radiant, hydrated, healthy, and overall more glowy. It gives my skin a fresh, well-cared-for look while still feeling comfortable and easy to wear during the day. For me, the quality has been very good, and the price feels worth it based on how well it performs. Overall, this is a nice option if you want a lighter serum that still delivers that smooth, luminous finish.
