Great Hair Days in a Tiny Bottle
I’ve already been using Mise En Scene Perfect Serum in the full-size bottle for a while, so I already knew that this was hair magic. This trial size feels like the adorable sidekick to my regular bottle; it’s the perfect size to just toss into a carry-on nad holds more than a weeks’ worth of daily use, so my hair doesn’t have to suffer just because I’m living out of a suitcase.The serum itself is as good as ever – it keeps my hair smooth and shiny, tames flyaways, and generally makes me look like I tried to wrangle my hair a lot harder than I actually did. My hair always feels more cooperative on days I use this, and the scent is lovely without being overpowering. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave my hair or hands greasy, and plays nicely with heat styling.Price-wise, the trial size is about $0.33 per ml while the full-size is about $0.24 per ml, so full size is the better deal for every day life. But for travel, gym bags, or testing it out before committing, this little bottle is perfect. If you like good hair days and hate decanting products into tiny mystery containers, this is an easy yes.

This serum does wonders on my hair when it is dry. I live in a humid environment, so this is usually more of a problem in the wintertime. I don’t need a lot at all, and usually rub it between my hands a little bit to warm it up before applying it. Then, I typically put it only to my ends and not my scalp.It smells good and is effective at leaving my hair soft and shiny, and my hair seems to tolerate the hair dryer and tools better. I like that my curls and waves still keep it together when I use this one. It is very easy to do too much and weight them down, so it took a little practice to get just the right amount.Overall, I think the trial size is definitely ideal for trying out the serum. There’s enough in each bottle to last me almost a whole month, since I only need a little bit and only use it a couple of times a week.

Good product but expensive
This is a viscous oil that distributes well over my straight, coarse Asian hair and gave it a healthy, natural-looking shine. My hair almost hits my underbust so I needed to use two coin-sized dollops (one is recommended by the packaging). I really like the applicator, which gives good control over the flow of the oil and prevented oily messes and spills. The oil has a warm floral scent that isn’t overpowering—and I’m sensitive to a lot of scents so this was great. It caused no irritation on my hands during application.This seems like a good product and I’m deducting one star only because $9.99 is a lot to pay for such a small amount of oil.

Smooths frizz and makes hair look healthier
I’ve been using this hair serum and it’s really nice for smoothing frizz and adding shine. It makes my hair look a lot healthier without feeling greasy, as long as you don’t use too much.It also helps with dryness and leaves my hair feeling softer overall. It’s lightweight and easy to use, and works well before heat styling or just to smooth everything out.Since this is a trial size, it’s great for testing it out or bringing with you when traveling. A little goes a long way, so you don’t need much. Overall, I think it’s a really solid hair serum that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and is worth trying.

Glassy smooth hair
I haven’t tried this serum before and was glad to be able to try a trial size. I’ve tried a few Mise en Scene products and am loving the entire line. This product is like a really thick hair oil, kind of more the consistency of honey. It’s extremely effective on my long, thick, straight hair. When I styled it with a straightening blow dryer my hair was so smooth and glassy. It was almost too slippery to even use a hair pin. Since you need so little of it I’ll probably save it for when I heat style my hair and use a more hydrating product for air drying. I love this small travel size, the bottle is great with a dropper style opening so it’s not too messy. But since the price is so reasonable I also wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the full size.

I grabbed the trial size to see what the hype was about, and I’m honestly impressed. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel so silky without being greasy at all. A little goes a long way, which is great. Definitely upgrading to the full bottle next time. Highly recommend for extra shine!

Great hair serum
My teen and I both use this serum for our hair and it works great. We both have long hair and this serum is moisturizing to our lengths and leave them feeling smoother. There is little to no fragrance and a few pumps is all you need to ensure your ends are left feeling nourished. This particular variation is trail sized, which is perfect to try out this product or for traveling like we use it for.
