Very nice mirror I purchased due to upcoming travel. Can see very well, using the magnifying side for plucking facial hair and applying makeup. Does very well with 3 different light settings. Just be aware of two things: the light shines from both sides, and you might shine the light on anyone across the room from you. Second, the tweezers feel a little harsh. I just use my own tweezers instead. Light so far lasting a long time and have not had to recharge. I like it a lot, and recommend it as a travel mirror or a mirror for at home.

Great Magnifying Zoom. For those who complain – they likely do not know how to use it. You are meant to hold the mirror up close to the intended skin surface due to the curvature of the mirror.Very nice and versatile. Can be used as a handheld mirror if you fold the legs together. You can also extend the legs for free-standing set-up. Incredibly mobile as the light can be turned on WITHOUT plugging-in the power cable.

Single most used item on a long trip
I am an extremely light packer. I debated before my 2 week long trip abroad whether it was worthwhile bringing it and I am so glad I did. It was the single most used on my trip. It’s not a small mirror, but not huge either. I kept it in the cushioned box so it wouldn’t break and it was the perfect protection. This mirror has great lighting on both sides, and the magnification is very good, enough for me to inspect my large pores for blackheads and make sure my makeup was blended well. For the normal side, it was useful for me to check the back and side views of my hair to make sure it was blown out right. The folding foot is very sturdy. The charging was easy. You just have to use the correct adaptor so there was no need for a heavy converter. I would recommend this to anyone, even if you’re not traveling. It’s not too.big to take up a lot of space on your vanity, and yet larger than a small handheld mirror. Definitely recommend.

Pretty nice
Mirror is nice, in hind sight I wish I looked for a 5X instead. Overall decent weight, with a tight pivoting base. Charged the battery once, and still works for five minutes a day. The ON/OFF Dimmer switch combo is easy to use and understand after you play with it for a couple minutes. It has three different light tone? colors? to simulate florescent lights daylight and I’m not sure what. I guess that’s for applying makeup (which I don’t, and I bet you’d need a larger mirror for). Great for finding the cat hair I get in my eyes, and shaving so I don’t miss a spot.

This packable mirror does everything my lighted magnifying counter one does And I can take it with me. Wish I had found this earlier. It appears sturdy and is well designed for holding as well as sitting on counter top.

Not close 30x magnification
Good for travel but no way 30x magnification. Side by side with my 12x shows little difference. I had returned a 20x for the same reason.
