Highly Recommended for Large Pores
This product came up when I was searching for something to get rid of furrow lines on my forehead. I also have large pores there, as well as on my nose, chin, and upper cheeks, so when I saw that it could shrink pores, I was even more interested. Reducing redness was another potential bonus.Result: No noticeable change on my furrow lines, or any other place that has lines/wrinkles (but I’m only 41). Redness seems to be somewhat reduced.However, I have noticed a VERY significant difference in my pores, especially on my nose. I have had huge pores on my nose for decades, one side in particular where I had a humongous pimple when I was younger. People have mistaken them for freckles, they’re that large. Over the years, I’ve been using various products to de-clog and/or deep clean, and while some things have helped a little bit, there was very little progress. Finally, after using this product, combined with my go-to deep pore cleansers, my pores have shrunk significantly, and some have actually begun to disappear! While progress has still been gradual, with consistent use, it has definitely helped! I finally feel that there’s hope of eventually getting rid of my pores.As for consistency and ease-of-use, it is a clear, gel-like liquid that I squirt directly onto my fingertips. Obviously, with any similar product, it can sometimes be unpredictable in how much comes out at once, but it won’t squirt far if you don’t let it. When it dries, it can leave a sticky residue on your face that gradually turns white in some spots. For this reason, I only recommend using it at night, or be ready to wipe your face with a wet paper towel when you get to work.If anyone is curious about my pore cleansers, I use The Vital Image, alternating with the Face & Body Wash and Grime Fighter. I use the wash at night before applying the serum, then wash it off again in the morning, and then later I use the Grime Fighter (I hope it’s okay to recommend other products on here).

I have to admit I have no idea if this is working or not. I purchased this because I was looking for a product with the highest concentration of niacinamide, without being excessively expensive. This product has a mild smell, and is creamy (as opposed to many other serums I have tried that are more oily in nature). You only need the tiniest bit of the serum, which I apply after applying essence, for good coverage of the main areas of the face, so I suspect this bottle will last me many months.This product comes in a pump dispenser, which is a little stiff, and if I am no careful I end up squirting the product across the room. I find this extremely annoying, and actually would make me reconsider purchasing again, especially given there are a large number of competitive products in this price range.Niacinamide is supposed to be good for tightening pores, and lightening dark spots on skin. The first time I used this, my skin burned a little and was left pink and irritated. However, now I only notice a tiny tingle and no irritation. I honestly cannot tell if this is doing anything at all because I use this as a part of a ten step routine. I alternate use of this product with another serum, and have been doing so four weeks, and my skin is noticeably younger and firmer.

Better than The Ordinary’s
This is more of a first impression’s review as I’ve only been using the product for a little over a week (thus the 4 stars as i’m still trying it out) but thus far I’m pretty impressed. I have oily skin (likely due to dryness, yeah winter) that is highly acne prone (a bane of my existence) with the beginnings of inherited rosacea (the things your parents give you). So my skin always seems to be red and splotchy with random zits of varying sizes and types with an overall uneven skin texture due to scarring from a long battle with acne since I hit puberty (33 years old and still rocking that god awful teenage skin, Awesome). But I digress.The product came in a box with one of those little puffy plastic pillow things and was itself wrapped in bubble wrap which is appreciated as it’s a glass bottle and comes with a pump nozzle. I had previously tried The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum that so many had raved about but was myself left underwhelmed by. The Ordinary’s was a clear, runny serum that was best applied when the face was wet otherwise it would kind of sit on the skin and would flake off as it dried. Even on a wet face, if you let it sit for to long it would cause my moisturizer to pill up to such an extent that I was best off just washing it off and starting over without it (It didn’t appear to be doing much anyway). In comparison, this serum is milky white with the consistency of almost a gel serum/ moisturizer hybrid. Wet or dry, it does a really good job of absorbing into the skin without leaving it feeling sticky or like it’s drying on top of your skin and going nowhere fast. I haven’t had a single issue with it pilling under my moisturizer regardless of how light or thick of a moisturizer I use. I’ve been going through a particularly rough patch with my skin with all kinds of breakouts and redness. I was using all of the normal acne zit products out there (salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide), which just did nothing. Anybody else have that happen? So I switched out products and am currently only using a Neutrogena AHA/BHA face wash at night and this serum also at night to deal with my acne and rosacea. As far a moisturizer goes I use Hado Labo’s Tokyo line skin pumping gel cream for the hyaluronic acid component and Ceraves night gel moisturizer with their thicker moisturizer on top as an occlusive at night. 2 products for the acne issue and within a week my skin is clear and it’s stayed clear. I’m hopeful I’ve found a winning combo for my skin and can continue to maintain my current “clarity” because believe me it’s been a looonnngg time since my skin has been this clear (like pre-pubescent). As of right now I definitely plan to repurchase this serum. The one from the Ordinary? Not so much. Good job Eva Naturals.

Ich habe eine lange Zeit das Produkt von the Ordinary benutzt, war aber nicht wirklich zufrieden, das es sehr klebrig war und stark gebrannt hat. Habe mir dann dieses Produkt bestellt, da es auch 12% Niacinamide statt 10% enthält und 2% Zink statt 1%. Von dem Produkt bin ich sehr überzeugt. Es klebt weder unangenehm, noch brennt es auf der Haut. Auch der Pumpverschluss ist super praktisch. Bereits nach einer Woche hat sich meine Haut um einiges verbessert und auch meine Mitesser wurden weniger. Das Produkt werde ich definitiv erneut kaufen!

Gave it a try because of all the positive reviews. I have been using it for more than month and the results are amazing. I didn’t have any outbreaks at all using any of the products and I am well pleased. I had a few marks left over by spots and all of it is almost faded away. And I am sure before long it will be completely gone. I should have taken some pictures to prove it but unfortunately I didn’t. As for the wrinkles, I didn’t have many wrinkles but what ever I had has also completely disappeared and my skin feels great. Have to be careful when pumping out the serums because it’s a bit stiff, so if you press it hard it can go everywhere. I am definitely hooked!
