New addition to my hair journey…
I have very dry, coarse 4C hair, and as an African‑American woman who no longer relaxes my hair, finding products that truly support my texture has been a long journey. I recently tried the Olaplex Hydrating Mask after using the Olaplex 4C Clarifying Shampoo to remove the buildup from my weekly rosewater and leave‑in products.The clarifier did a solid job thorough without stripping and the mask left my hair noticeably more moisturized. Olaplex treatments can be time‑intensive, so I have to plan my wash days, but the results were worth it. My cuticles felt smoother, the bonding effect was noticeable, and I experienced less frizz overall.The mask is a bit heavy, but that’s exactly what my hair type needs. I also love the scent; it blends beautifully with the rest of the Olaplex line. The price is definitely on the higher side, especially if you’re using multiple products in the system, but I plan to continue with the line as I work toward stronger, more moisturized, more manageable hair. Olaplex is known for requiring consistent layering and buildup over time, and even with this first use, my hair felt better than it has in a while.

Excellent and very effective product, better than I had expected.
This is a product that actually worked better than I expected it to. I have fine to medium texture hair that is long (mid back length) and I have a LOT of it, and I have it highlighted regularly to blend my many, many greys. My hair is naturally wavy, prone to frizz, and the ends especially are very dry and tend to split or break when I haven’t had it trimmed recently. This is a great mask, works with the other OlaPlex products, and is easy to apply and use. I use it once a week in the shower for 10 minutes, last step before I get out, and my hair loves it. It is well condition and not tangly when I get out of the shower. My natural wave is enhanced, I can let it air dry if preferred, or can use heat to dry (I use either a Dyson air straightener or airwrap) and my hair is shiny, bouncy and moisturized. This product like other OlaPlex products may be too heavy for very fine and thin hair., but it’s great for mine. I don’t really notice a strong scent with these products, but they’re not unscented. My waves look luscious and I have no problems with frizz, I don’t have to use any leave in conditioner when I use this product. I still use the OlaPlex No. six and a couple of drops of the oil and work it in from near the roots to the ends of my hair before I air dry or style my hair dry.

Amazing product
I love this stuff. I used it after taking my extensions out. My hair was extremely dry, and nothing I did made it better until I used this product. I have curly 3b/3c hair. Moisture is finally restored, and my hair feels so soft and manageable. I left it in for half an hour after shampooing.

Amazing Product
This is a terrific product! It actually seems to penetrate the hair instead of just coat it and wash away next shampoo. My hair gets so dry during heating season and year round hard water. Using this once a week or even every other week in combination with the shampoo and conditioner keeps my curls quenched and frizz free. It’s very concentrated and you get great results from a modest amount. It doesn’t weigh my hair down like most others do, either. I was so glad I ran across this on the Black Friday sale because I was just one Christmas present shy of finishing my list and didn’t know what I wanted to get her – and realized this was the perfect thing! I got one for myself too. I’ve been using the Olaplex line exclusively for a little over a year now and will never go back to anything else.

Works for protein steam
This was used as my hair mask steam. Made hair stiffer but the breakage was drastically reduced the next wash. More effective as a protein mask not a moisturizing mask. U still need Silicon steam after this to soften the hair afterwards

I absolutely love Olaplex products so when I found out they created this hair mask I just had to try it. It came packaged well and sealed. It has that signature Olaplex scent and it leaves my hair feeling amazing. As someone who bleaches and tones their hair every 8 weeks, hydration and hair health is a must. This product leaves my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. A little goes a long way so the container lasts me a long time and I use it about once a week when I do my weekly Olaplex “deep treatment”. I will absolutely be purchasing this again and again.
