How to Use
Apply a small amount to wet or dry hair. Style as usual. Apply to clean, towel-dried hair. Do not rinse out; style as usual. Spray evenly on damp hair and style. I LOVE this product. I have recommended it to many friends, all have come back to thank me. There are several ways to use this. My friends & I have compared notes and see that we each have found our “best” way to use this product. I suggest if you purchase it you should experiment with it. One person uses it on damp, towel dried hair and then styles; I started doing that but then I tried using it on my hair after I had styled it when it was dry. It’s an oil but does not leave your hair oily, just leaves you with a luscious shine. I rub the oil between my hands to warm it and then distribute it thru my styled hair and hand style it, gives it a nice finished look, no hair spray necessary. I only use 1 to 1 1/2 pumps of oil, another friend uses 3 pumps, yet another friend uses 5 pumps. The irony to me is that the man using 5 pumps has very thin hair, much thinner than the rest of us, pulls it back into a short ponytail. His hair texture has always been brittle and dry now his hair looks so much healthier, not so dry and brittle. He’s very happy.

Recently returned to this product after using shea-butter as my primary hair treatment for years and I’m SO glad I did! Can’t even remember why I switched to shea-butter and I’m so glad to find that this product is still on the market. I have extremely kinky 4c hair and this stuff gets me softer and shinier than anything else I’ve ever tried, and my hair seems to retain the moisture VERY effectively. But I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 because the spray bottle this stuff comes in now is ridiculous. When my hands are slippery – which they obviously are when using this product – the nozzle slips and swivels so that it’s facing either the inside of my hand, or my face. It’s infuriating. Getting sprayed in the hand is just inconvenient, but getting sprayed in the FACE??? In the EYES???? Painful and unacceptable. To avoid it, I just go ahead and spray it into my hand first. But that eliminates the point of the product being in a spray bottle in the first place. I’ll probably start putting it into a bottle with a more traditionally shaped spray nozzle, because the one it comes in now simply does not cut it.

it did nothing for my hair. i’ve used it once a day, every day for a month. the bottle is empty and my hair is looking the same: dry.my hair looked great after applying it, but that only lasts 5 minutes, then the moisture vanishes and looks like i’ve never applied the product.the smell is great and that’s the only thing i like about it, and that’s why and gave it 2 stars instead of 1.
