Photo Finish Blending Tool
I read the reviews about this blending egg and they are all spot on with 5 stars. If you need makeup blending, this is the tool you need. I’m an older lady, so I need all the help I can get! I was preparing to have “after” photos after some dental work. This little egg helped my makeup look flawless. One photo in the car is after the photo shoot – real selfie. The other photo is after the dentist ‘s photoshopping. Regardless, the blending the egg was able to do make me feel confident for super close up shots.

not what I expected
first impression: was much smaller than expected and more dense so it absorbs more. tried the cleaner on my current blender and it wasn’t impressive… perhaps it works better on the original beauty blender? I’ll keep using it and seeing how best it fits in my routine or if it was just a waste.

quality, quality, quality
There’s not much you can add to this brand of makeup sponge. Beauty Blender makes the best and I have been using them for years. They don’t absorb gallons of your expensive foundation and application is seamless and always smooth. Obviously, there are sponges out there that are much less costly, but the quality in these cannot be beat.

Best soap for makeup products
I love this soap . It’s the best around for my brushes and spongers and I’ve been buying it for years. I really wish beauty blender would bring back the big big soap that is like this . That one lasted me a lot longer . Otherwise no complaints it is not hard on my expensive make up brushes

Very handy set
I am not a stranger to the Beauty Blender makeup sponge with its very recognisable teardrop shape. I also use their regular sponge and brush cleansing bar. That said, I have not used the solid charcoal version of their cleansing bar. First, the iconic fuchsia colour of the sponge is just so pleasing to look at. Looks aside, there’s a reason why it has been the preferred makeup tool for makeup enthusiasts over the years, this sponge works very well. It plumps up nicely when damp, and gives even and light distribution of foundation/blush when used in a stamping fashion. That said, it may not always be easy getting a thorough cleaning of these sponges. I’ve found that the cleanser they offer is often the one that can truly get all the last bits of makeup nestled deep in the sponge, out. The original cleansing bar works well for that, and this charcoal one works just as well, if not better.Pros:Comfortable on face (sponge when used damp)Provides even distribution of product (sponge when used damp)Charcoal cleanser gives a deep and thorough clean without affecting the softness of the spongeHandy scrub mat that comes with the cleanserCleanser bar lasts a very long time (a little goes a long way)Con:Frankly, this is an obvious one. Even though their products work so well, the price points is really on the higher side of things ($32 for this set, price at the point of this review).I use this sponge and cleanser set frequently and they should last me for a long time to come.
