As like everything else we buy that works well for us, they’ve changed the formula on this conditioner now too. I’ve used Pantene most of my adult life, and have always loved their products. Even my hairdresser used to say that people that use it have the shiniest hair.Well, not anymore. First I used the original formula, then they got rid of that so I used the smooth and sleek until I could no longer get a comb through my hair after washing and conditioning it. Then I tried this one and it worked great like their original formula. Now I can still get a comb through my hair after washing, but my hair is starting to dry out.I know they are now trying to push leave in conditioners which I’ve never liked or needed, (now I do) so that’s why they changed the formula, besides that it’s probably cheaper for them to make.Unfortunately it’s not just Pantene that’s doing this. Even the higher end companies like Matrix, Verb, etc… they are all charging their product formulas, quality, sizes, etc…It’s sad, because I would pay extra just to have what I like/want.
