Not sure if I’m using this right
I used this to wash my face in the shower, but it just seemed to peel? It also left residue. I don’t think I noticed much of a difference, either. I probably misread the directions.

This is something you have to have. Super gentle on your skin but at the same time exfoliates a lot leaving the skin super soft and smooth.

Nicely exfoliating and deep cleansing
I am liking this exfoliating cleanser. I find it does not leave my face feeling dry, yet still provides good cleansing and exfoliation. No irritation, and I do have “fickle” skin. There is a generous amount of cleanser in tube. I like that it does not contain parabens or other ingredients I try to avoid.

A Bit Underwhelming for Me
This cleanser was okay but didn’t live up to the hype for me. While it was gentle on my skin and caused no irritation, I didn’t notice much difference in texture or brightness. The bubbling effect was nice at first, but the overall results didn’t justify the price for me. It might work better for those with very sensitive skin who need a mild exfoliant, but it wasn’t what I was hoping for.

Get over the initial weird feeling; this stuff is good!
Parnell is a fairly new brand (Est. 2019) that’s jumped into the K-beauty realm. They usually produce gentle products that are cruelty free. This is a review for their peeling cleanser.I’ll confess, the initial feeling of this on my face was not positive. The directions ask you to massage it on your dry face without water first. When you do that, the cream/gel/cleanser tends to form this really odd consistency. Almost feels like you dried your wet face with TP (IYKYK!) You’ve some white pieces of this product sticking to various parts of your face etc. etc. Just as you’re wondering what the hell you did your face and figure you need to add some water–that is when this product does its best work.It lathers beautifully and cleanses your face without drying it out. You’ll get squeaky clean but not be too dried out. I am not sure if this exfoliates your skin well or not, but it makes your skin feel great after use. I used their cleansing oil first and followed it this up with cleanser and liked the results just fine. Would recommend!

decent cleanser, leaves skin soft, has caused slight initial breakout
this is one of those gel-bead cleansers, where it has tiny bits that are what help exfoliate and clean, like tiny little gel bits. i do my face cleanse in the shower, so i havent had any issues with the thicker texture of the cleanser, since my hands and face are already wet when i spread it between my hands to face.no real smell to this and washes easy. leaves my skin pretty soft and smooth, but as with exfoliating cleansers, this has caused an initial breakout, but nothing too crazy, just super tiny pimples where i was probably clogged with dead skin or whatever, or could be just not compatible with my skin, ill find out in a few weeks.as for daily use, i definitely dont recommend it, since i dont like doing daily exfoliation, my skin starts to sting obviously, since it’s harsher than just a normal foam cleanser. i like using this just twice a week usually monday and friday just to keep a clean slate throughout the week, then use my usually cleanser for the rest of the days.
