Feels too sticky after application
I like to try a lot of different face products. I like that this product has natural ingredients and has a decent price point. It goes on smoothly. Unfortunately, I can’t do face products that leave a sticky feeling after application and this product does that on my skin. I may try it on targeted areas like my nose or on a breakout area, but I can’t use it on my entire face because of the stickiness. This product may be great for other users, but it’s not for me.

Hydrating unlike a lot of other such products
I’ve been using this for a few weeks and have so far found this serum pretty hydrating unlike other skin products that target breakouts. While I haven’t seen a drastic change in terms of breakout control, I’m not sure if this just takes longer to be more effective (also, the breakouts might be caused by other factors, such as stress/hormones). It does not make the breakouts worse, however, and I haven’t had any bad reactions to the serum. My skin also does look more nourished and renewed after using it.The texture is thick and slippery, and a little actually goes a long way. It seems to take longer to absorb than some other serums but once it does, there isn’t any stickiness left behind.

Not sure of effectiveness
I have oily skin and I will say this product gives me a natural glow not an over oily look to my face, I’ve used this for over a month now and my skin is abit softer but that’s about it so cant really say it was a waste but not sure I’ll buy it again.

Basic, in a good way
True to its name, this is a basic (in a good way) serum for anyone with oily or combination skin who’s looking for real results and who wants to know what they are putting on their face. “Vegan friendly” and scent free, all the ingredients are listed on the box. Both the box and the bottle give the percentages for salicylic acid, niacinamide and kombucha.It’s clear and slippery, so it spreads easily and you don’t need to use a lot. No stickiness. It’s a good exfoliator, without being overly drying, and using it makes my skin brighter and clearer. Since I have combination skin I don’t use it everyday, but those with oilier skin could.

Great for oily skin!
Unfortunately, my skin is easily prone to breakouts and acne. I’ve started using this product as a base before applying my moisturizer with sunscreen and my make-up. So far it’s working great and hasn’t made me break out! I love that it has niacinamide acid (that’s the only thing that kept my “maskne” controlled during the pandemic) and salicylic acid. It’s not as pricey as some serums and it gets the job done. It goes on very lightly and a little goes a long way, so I expect this bottle to last for a while!
