Seeming targeting, quality ingredients for skin healing made in Holland – Netherlands
This product arrived boxed, however neither the box or the 1.35 ounce tube had any kind of safety seal. I realize consumer protections such as foil seals, plastic wraps, etc., are not as common in many other countries and since this product is made in the Netherlands I can only assume it is not a requirement and/or “best practice” in that European country. The product I received did not appear to be tampered with in any detectable way however, so I felt confident using it. Also, as another reviewer mentioned I did not find an expiration date on either the box or tube, however there are matching numbers on both box and tube that may be something like a batch number, which potentially correlates back to an production and/or expiration date.Much of the information on the box is translated into several languages, including the native Dutch, as well as French, German and English. Direction on the tube say to “apply and message several times per day. Do not use on open wounds. Store dry, cool and dark.”The box states that this formulas was developed over a century by Plastic Surgeons from Burn Center Beverwijk. In my opinion the ingredient list does include a number of potentially beneficial active ingredients, oils, extracts, butters and more. Per the listing information “this scar cream is ideal for post-procedure care, including laser treatment, radiation therapy, surgery, cosmetic procedures, and C-sections… support recovery, soothe, and nourish the skin…provide a calming and moisturizing effect…for optimal recovery and rejuvenation.” Personally, while I will use the cream on some old scars, I will also be utilizing this cream in a somewhat “off label” use on my cheeks where I have some rosacea type redness and irritation that I expect ingredients in this product can potentially help sooth and possibly mitigate to some degree. I’ll update my review if helpful, but it will likely take numerous applications before any improvements may be noted.The cream is very light and silky and does absorb quickly. To me the cream had a rather significant fragrance, which may bother some people, however in my opinion it was not overpowering and dissipated fairly quickly. Although it is quite far down the list “Parfum” is shown as one of the ingredients.

Product: Scar Cream – Skin Healing Cream with Vitamin E, Honey, Hyaluronic Acid, SiliconeThe scar cream is easy to spread and feels smooth on the skin, which makes sense because Ethylhexyl stearate and dimethicone are at the top of the ingredient list. The top 5 ingredients are basically water, silicone, and emulsifiers/lubricants to give the cream a smooth touch on the skin. It’s only with the 6th ingredient (Simmondsia chinensis seed oil) we get to something with healing properties. Thus, I take its healing claim with a grain of salt as most seem to be artificial smoothing. But as someone who often forgets to apply cream consistently, the positive feeling associated with applying the cream encourages me to apply the cream more frequently, which I say is a positive towards faster healing time.

Smooth, Moisturizing Lotion Hydrates and Heals
The lotion was ordered to use for moisturizing cracked skin during the hot, dry summer months. If you have this issue, you comprehend the desperation to keep skin from cracking, bleeding, and oozing but find some oils and creams exacerbate rather than minimize the painful problem. I researched and tried several options but I have found this creamy lotion to be a positive answer to my struggle.I really enjoyed the soft scent, it is similar to a baby salve. This does not permeate the air or linger heavily but it does provide a comforting aroma and it is not offensive to me at all. I wear a powder, an antiperspirant and deodorant, multiple scented and unscented makeup products, lotions, and a perfume that all harmonize. This product is soothing, applies easily, and does not require large amounts to cover areas.The price is more than a rash cream but similar to a facial cream or a medicating salve. While it may initially appear pricey, it works in a variety of instances as a lotion, a preventative medication, medicinal repair support, and as a covering to promote healing and minimal scarring. The sum of items would cost quite a bit more if purchasing this quality in each category. I find the product to be worth the investment and more than effective in each area. My preference for a thick cream had me as an initial skeptic but my use and relief has given me a new outlook.

Used the whole bottle, it’s basically just moisturizer
I definitely found the pictures in the listing to be fairly hilarious. It shows a fairly bad scar just…disappearing! Sure. Right. I used this entire bottle over the course of two months on a small scar on my hand. It successfully moisturized the scar. After running out, I can definitely say the scar looks exactly the same as it did when I started.So, it’s a moisturizer. A very expensive moisturizer in a tiny bottle. Maybe it will help brand new injuries not scar as badly. I’m not sure on that one. It definitely does nothing to older scars. It didn’t bother my skin at all and the smell isn’t bad.

Scar creams take some time to show results, and since I just started using the scar cream, I can’t give you a full review yet. I will update you after a couple of months.I can tell you that it’s not greasy and absorbs quickly. It does have Hyaluronic Acid, which helps keep the area hydrated. With any scar treatment, consistency gets you results. If you want results, use this cream every day.EXPIRATION DATE: NONE!I always check for expiration dates before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. The expiration date tells me whether a product has been sitting somewhere on a shelf or an idea of when manufactured for distribution. This product does NOT have an expiration date, likely because it is not required.The PRICE for this scar cream is in the usual range. It’s exactly as advertised and works well.
