Used this for my 3c/4a hair let me tell you !! My hair was left so hydrated!! I need to keep buying this conditioner but for some reason i don’t 😭This is hands down a really great conditioner especially for high porosity hair !

I have a very very sensitive scalp, and low porosity, 2c/3a hair thats fairly thin and very dense. This gave me good moisture that did not weigh me down, but compared to the “knot today” from aunt jackies I usually use, i needed to use ALOT of product. But the moisture did penetrate deeper and not leave a sticky residue or any buildup.I ended up mixing this with jojoba oil and using it as a leave on under a cap for like an hour and my hair has never been that soft.My biggest qualm with this and honestly every shea moisture product is that the fragrance is SO heavy. Fragrance is a really bad irritant that can mess your skin up, give you allergic contact dermatitis and even sensitize you to other products over time.People act like essential oils are better for this but… essential oils are VERY concentrated volatile oils and you should not ever apply them directly to your skin. People act like natural unprocessed ingredients are always better. Y’all there are natural things that would have no problem killing you and penicillin isn’t exactly natural.I did not realize how much fragrance was in this product until i used it and ladies it’s alot. Fragrance really shouldn’t be listed as a main ingredient. I wish they had other options.The conditioner seems to work ok as i rinse some out and apply it to my hair not my skin, but whenever i use shea moisture shampoo it eventually breaks my scalp out into a rash and it’s not fun. Sometimes i even get breakouts along my scalp from the shampoo because it’s basically just parfum with some mild cleansers in it.They make the stuff that works the best for my hair but it always smells SO freaking intense and breaks my scalp out and that’s just such a bummer. Also shea moisture actually seems like a really nice ethical company, and i wish they made safer products for people with sensitive skin so i could actually buy from them instead of all these other beauty companies that sell progressivism and use women and the idea of helping the environment as an advertisement but buy ingredients linked to the slave trade, sell skin lightening cream in other countries, and have a rainforests worth of palm oil in every plastic bottle.Sorry for going off like that about conditioner but it’s not really just conditioner.My products arrived on time and were as advertised.I wouldn’t recommend this if you have kinky curls or coils, but thinner curls and waves like mine would probably do well with this product.

I love this stuff for my hair. My hair is thin and bleached, and I use this daily and it keeps my hair, soft and manageable.The formula is light and I can use it daily. There’s no oiliness to my hair and it does help a lot with detangling.My hairdresser told me to keep doing what I’m doing because it seems to be helping my hair

I really wanted to like this product. I have been on the search for a conditioner and shampoo with mostly natural ingredients when I came across this conditioner. By the description and the listed ingredients it sounded like it was exactly what I needed. After reading through the reviews I decided to give it a try. The conditioner smells great. If you do not have hair that has been lightened then this might be a good fit for you. Unfortunately for me the conditioner did not provide any moisture or softness to my hair. I did give it a second try just to be sure by going overboard with the amount if product, but that didn’t work. My hair was so hard to brush through after showering that I had to apply an enormous amount of moisturizing products to get it brushed out. The hair around my face was completely dry by the time I finished getting it combed out. I had to wet it again to blow out the frizz. I should mention that I do have long hair. So, for me this is going to be used to shave my legs.

3B dry hair, it’s almost a hair mask or so, as everything Shea Moisture, it feels heavy afterwards, but for me it’s a great sign of moisture, hair was uber shiny and manageble, I always trust this brand for the treating part because they still the goat. I also use the strengthen and restore mask and the stretch pudding when needed.

Conditioner somehow makes my hair feel both dry as straw, but also weighed down with excess oil. Also experienced higher hair loss during the 2 weeks I used this.. Have used it before and did not have the same result.. Not sure if this is an authentic product – thrown away unfortunately.
