surprisingly effective (but not a “peel”)
I bought this thinking it was a traditional peeling mask, and it’s… not that. There’s definitely a translation issue in the name. It’s more of a peeling gel exfoliator than a mask.Here’s how it actually works:1. wash your face like normal2. rinse3. apply a small (pea sized?) amount of this and gently rub your skin in circular motions.Almost immediately, you’ll start seeing little “chunkies” form and roll off under your fingers. It’s equal parts gross and deeply satisfying. 😅After just one use, I was honestly shocked at how much smoother and brighter my skin looked. My pores looked smaller, and my face felt incredibly soft. I have very sensitive skin, so I fully expected some kind of irritation afterward…but surprisingly, I didn’t have any reaction at all!! 💯It reminds me of a lip scrub, but for your whole face. Because of my sensitive skin, I won’t use it daily, but as an occasional exfoliating treatment, it’s fantastic.One tip: I prefer using it in the shower so everything rinses away easily. Otherwise, you might find a stray “chunk” later, which is… not ideal. 😬Minor gripe: there’s a sticker across the cap labeled “open date” (in English), but I couldn’t find any clear info on how long the product is actually good after opening. Also, that sticker isn’t the real seal—there’s a proper foil seal under the cap—so the sticker just ends up hanging off and getting in the way every time you open it. If they want people to track the open date, it would make way more sense to put that sticker on the body of the tube instead.🌟 Overall, this has definitely earned a spot in my skincare routine. Just don’t go in expecting a peel-off mask. It’s something different, and honestly, better.

Left skin looking refreshed. Tiny “balls” that form on the skin are nearly impossible to remove.
The directions on this “peeling gel” state to massage it into your face after washing your face until the impurities on your skin start to surface, and to then wash it off. This product is similar in effect to rice based products, which create tiny balls of grit on the face when massaged into the skin. What differentiates this product from those products, and the reason why I give this three stars, is that I found it nearly impossible to get the little balls of grit off my skin with water. Even using a textured disposable face towel, I could not remove all of them and had to use my fingernails. Even this did not completely work and I ended up with a bleeding scratch on my skin. I do not give this an even lower score because my skin did look refreshed after application. I also have rosacea and very easily irritated skin and this product did not irritate my skin at all, which is a big plus. But if you are looking for this type of product, which creates tiny balls on the face to control sebum, there are many better options at a lower price that will be much easier to wash off.

Good exfoliation, big bottle
This is a great exfoliating gel. It seems a little more fantastic than it is with respect to the “flaking” skin it removes. If you slowly spread the gel out you can see that much of that “flaking” is a byproduct of the gel itself, not actually dead skin and debris (see attached photo). Whatever that substance is helps to remove the dead skin, but it makes it feel like you’re removing tons of dead skin cells when, again, a large portion of it is just the pilling of the gel itself. With that being said, it really works well. I use this about once a week to really deep clean my face. I used it on my legs when they were peeling after a sunburn. It didn’t get rid of all of the peeling skin, but it made a big dent.The bottle is a decent size and you get a good amount of product for the price. I have tried similar exfoliating products that are less expensive and do the same thing, but give far less product for the cost. I would definitely still recommend this product.

Gentle, grateful for sensitive skin
This does what it says it does, although I’ve heard a lot of mixed information about these types of products. When you rub this into your skin, you do feel the dead skin coming off and balling up as you rub. There is a very mild spot like scent. And it leaves the skin very smooth. I have sensitive skin and have not noticed any irritation with this. If you like the feeling of a super clean face and removing dead skin cells, I think this is the product for you.
