Perfect for Tretinol users!
After a couple of years of sticking with foaming cleansers—whether it was The Rice Shop, Mizon’s snail mucus repair wash, or The Saem’s snail essential foam—I realised none of them were giving me the results I wanted. Blackheads on my nose stayed put, those awkward little sebum bumps at the corners of my lips kept coming back, and I still had that odd build-up of dead skin around my cheeks if I left washing for a full day. Even layering seven different skincare products never gave me that truly smooth, silky feel I was after.What I actually needed was an exfoliating cleanser. The tricky part is that I also use tretinoin, which makes me wary about over-exfoliating. I’ve learnt the hard way how harsh scrubs or too much acid can upset my skin barrier. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised by The Face Shop’s AHA/BHA exfoliating wash.You only need a pea-sized amount, and it spreads easily with a soft gommage-gel texture. I can feel it gently polishing away dullness without the scratchy “microbeads” that feel like sandpaper in disguise. No stinging, no irritation, no tightness afterwards—just skin that feels properly refreshed and smooth, almost baby-soft. I now use it twice a week, and that’s plenty to keep my skin looking clear and even.The formula itself is impressive: panthenol, LHA + PHA alongside the AHA and BHA, which balance exfoliation with hydration. It’s “less is more” skincare done right, and the tube lasts ages.Another plus is what it doesn’t contain: no fragrance, parabens, paraffin, animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, talc, tar colourants, or polyacrylamide. It’s clean, straightforward, and feels genuinely thoughtful compared to many exfoliating cleansers on the market.If you’re after one of those scrubs where you can see dead skin rolling off or feel chunks scraping your face raw – this isn’t it (go grab Neutrogena for that kind of drama). But if you want a cleanser that smooths, clears, and brightens without punishing your skin, this is the one worth keeping on your shelf.

Decent exfoliating
This is a decent physical exfoliator, it’s not a chemical exfoliator. The product clumps up to slough off dead skin… it’s not clumps of your dead skin coming off.

Pros: good size, no scent, not excessively drying out the skin and no allergic reaction.Cons: it does not scrub your face ( it has very few scrubbing agents, almost none) and it does not remove the makeup.I won’t buy it again.

I generally shy away from buying beauty products, (or any brand name products) from Amazon because I feel like there’s a lot of knockoffs on this platform. Since this was a relatively inexpensive brand that I’d never heard of though, I decided to give it a shot.IT WORKS SO WELL.After just a few days, I can already see diminished texture on my face. It’s gentle enough that I’ve been able to use it under my eyes without any irritation.It’s so inexpensive that there’s really no reason not to give it a shot. My advice is to pull the trigger, go ahead and order it. You can thank me later.

知らないブランドだし、名前がボ〇ィショップのパクリみたいだし、日本からのレビューがないし…でかなり怖くて迷いましたが、成分が良さそうだったしそんなに高くもないので、失敗してもいいやという気持ちで思い切って買ってみました！結果的にはけっこう気に入りました！まず、香りが良い。ウッディ系ハーブの香りでとても好み。ティーツリーとかローズマリーとかの香りが好きな方なら気に入ると思います。癒されます。スクラブはかなり柔らかいです。柔らかめのゼリーの粒が入っているような感触。正直、肌にのせてマッサージする前からぽろぽろ落ちてきて、ちゃんとピーリングできているのか？と不安になります。洗い流すと、わざとらしいツルッツル感はなく、穏やかに肌の表面が整った触り心地。強いピーリング効果を求める方には物足りないと思いますが、肌に負担をかけずに穏やかにピーリングしたいというニーズにはちょうど良い使い心地でした。１～２回では劇的な効果は感じませんが、定期的に使っていればくすみやざらつきが減っていきます。香りも含めて私は気に入ったので、なくなったらリピしたいなと思っています。
