Love the product but cap can be temperamental
*update after 6 weeksI posted two “after photos. The lighting is different and I still have some redness. But I do feel like I’m seeing a difference in my skin texture and pigmentation!*****I am posting my before pics with the highest hopes that in 4 weeks I will have some “after”s that show a more even skin tone!Nearing 50 (!) and time is definitely marching across my face like Dolly Parton said it would! Not diagnosed with rosacea but it seems likely. Not the end of the world but clear makeup free skin would be nice! Laugh lines are lovely signs of a life well enjoyed. Red splotches just kind of show all the dumb times I went without sunscreen lol.Anyway. I have yet to find a Vitamin C product line that truly agrees with my skin. My skin barrier can be more or less fragile depending on what else is happening in my life and health at the moment, plus we live at high altitude and it is dryyyyyy with extra sun exposure so that does not help.This product is so gentle! I’m able to apply to clean skin, then move on with my routine. It hasn’t interacted in a negative way with anything so far. Skin just feels very smooth. It says to apply morning and night. I’ve started with just bedtime and will work up tp that. I felt a slightly warm sensation the first couple of uses which has gone away. Definitely if it burned I would discontinue use, but it doesn’t. Right now my skin seems a little angry getting over the flu, so I’m pairing it with gentle barrier improving creams for daily use. No retinol or anything at the moment.At first I thought my cap was broken- it’s a slick pop up locking design. If yours doesn’t work, try try again. It has to click just exactly right. It doesn’t fill up the dropper much but I use product sparingly anyway. Just mentioning as that seems to be a common issue and not just a one off occurrence with the bottle I received.The fine print says I’ll look like Scarlett Johansson in 4-6 weeks so I’ll keep you posted. 🙂

Pricy dark spot serum
I like this dark spot serum. I like that it is unscented and has not caused irritation to my skin. While this serum absorbs easily, it does leave my skin feeling tacky which is surprising given how lightweight this goes on. Since I started using this serum nightly, I have noticed a slight lightening of my dark spots so I hope to continue to see the positive effects. I also noticed that my skin tone is brighter and more even. I will have to mention that while the bottle is beautiful, the dispensing method with the plunger button on the bottle top is clunky and awkward. The button is hard to push so getting the amount of serum you want is hit or miss. This bottle is on the pricier side for dark spot serums. Overall, while I like this serum, I have found other dark spot serums that might be just as effective but are less expensive.

Lightweight, pleasant smell, and nice packaging
Was pleasantly surprised at this product. It has nearly no smell or a slight clean fragrance. It goes on with a lot of hydration but dries without DRYING your skin out. I’ve used it for a couple weeks and have noticed an overall evenness to my complexion; I feel that this helped a bit!My skin did appear brighter and more hydrated overall. I have very sensitive skin and had no issues with irritation. It goes on very light, too.The packaging is also very classy and modern/clean looking. The serum is in a dropper that you press the “button” on the top of the lid to fill up. Overall I would recommend this and plan on looking at other products form this company. It’s also listed as vegan if that is important to you.
My Opinion –
Works for my rosacea and so very gentle!
I can’t tell you how many times I tried skin products for my rosacea. I even tried Quinine which I do not recommend. I was desperate. Wish I’d found this years before. It is so gentle on my skin. It goes on evenly with barely using any at all. It dries fairly quickly and you can’t see it once applied. I expect the bottle to last a long time. It has a pop up thing in the middle that can sometimes be annoying. If you don’t click it just right it can be temperamental but I feel like that’s being nitpicky. It’s an easy product to use, albeit a bit on the expensive side. At almost $70 in January of ’26 it may feel like a lot to spend. I think that all depends on whether I can get rid of these spots permanently. So far they have lightened but you can still see them. Of course, I’m looking in a 5X mirror. I don’t mind having to apply this for a month or two or even three but I don’t want to have to do it the rest of my life. If they come back or stop fading I’ll update this review, but right now, it will take time to figure out how much it will fade. I do recommend using it as suggested. That’s when I’m washing my face anyway so where’s the harm. Right now I can recommend it as long as you are clear about what your needs are and whether you’re happy with fading vs. completely gone. It you have rosacea like me, you’ll probably be happy to have anything to even gently fade the spots.

Great product
This serum is perfect for anyone whose skin is too sensitive to vitamin c and it dries it. This new technology uses a variation of vitamin c for people with sensitive skin. I’ve been using this serum for 2 weeks and I can start seeing a difference with my skin texture. It looks more clear and my pores a bit smaller. The bottle is very hygienic since it’s a pump and it comes with a lot of product. There’s no scent to it and I can say it’s an effective formula that does dry my skin. The key to using this with results is consistency and sunscreen as this does cause your skin to be more prone to sunburn. I would repurchase this.
