Moisturizes skin, but no effect on dark spots
This Thome ABC serum has a lightweight formula that makes it easy to apply. The serum has a smooth texture and absorbs quickly without leaving greasy or oily residue. The serum is thin and spreads evenly on my skin with no skin irritation. The ultimate synergy of Azelaic Acid 10%, Niacinamide 5%, and Centella Asiatica 1% clinically designed to improve visible skin concerns including excess oil, breakout-prone areas, post-blemish marks, visible redness, and rough texture. The formula feels nice and moisturizes my dry skin. This lightweight facial serum is very pleasant; it is mild but not overpowering. I’ve been using this product once a day for more than a few weeks and I didn’t see any real difference especially on my dark spot. Maybe it’s one of those products that takes a while to be effective and see results.

Good quality serum
Korean skincare is (understandably) all the rage. This serum, by Thome, is a winner in my book. I am 47 but don’t have too many issues associated with mature skin yet – some uneven tone and dark spots. This serum feels great – it’s easy to apply with a little spreading nicely across the skin. It has a delicate, pleasant, not overpowering scent. Despite the fact it’s a feel, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. The dropper makes it easy to dispense the right amount.I use this after the shower and cleansing. and I’ve found that this leaves my skin feeling bright and moisturized. I haven’t yet seen any notable change in tone or dark spot reduction, but I know it takes some time for those effects to show up.

A Really Nice Azelaic Acid Serum — Especially Impressive for the Price
I’m 52 and post-menopausal with dry, mature skin, and I’m always cautious when trying new brands — especially when they contain active ingredients like azelaic acid. I hadn’t heard much about THOME initially, but after doing some research, I realized this serum is made by the same company behind the THOME G-Peel Program, which is one of my favorite at-home chemical peels and something I use regularly. That immediately gave me confidence — and this serum absolutely lived up to expectations. The THOME G-Peel Program is a 4-step at-home treatment designed to exfoliate, soothe, hydrate, and seal in moisture, and it’s known for refining texture while remaining gentle — something that really stood out to me.This serum feels very much in line with that same philosophy: effective, but gentle and skin-respecting.The texture is lightweight and absorbs easily without feeling sticky or heavy. Despite containing 10% azelaic acid and 5% niacinamide, it feels surprisingly gentle. My skin stays comfortable, and I haven’t experienced irritation — which is especially important for mature skin. With continued use, I’ve noticed my skin looks calmer, smoother, and more even overall. It helps refine texture and improve clarity without drying my skin out. The addition of centella also makes this feel soothing and balanced rather than aggressive.Another standout is the value. For this ingredient combination and performance, this is very reasonably priced and compares well to more expensive azelaic acid serums I’ve tried.Overall, this ended up being a really impressive serum, especially coming from the makers of the THOME G-Peel, which I already love and trust. It’s gentle, effective, and easy to incorporate into a routine.

ABCs for those with dry and sensitive skin!
The main active ingredient for this serum is Azelaic Acid which is a mild chemical peel akin to glycolic acid. But AA is neither AHA nor BHA and used principally to treat acne and rosacea. It contains Centella Asiatica to make it extra hydrating and friendlier on the skin for those of you with especially dry and sensitive skin. B12, or Niacinamide disrupts the transport of melanin to the upper layers of the skin, providing skin whitening effects without the bleaching that indubitably damages skin the process. The serum has a nice, subtle scent to it and seems to incorporate into other lotions and cremes. I’m a guy so I don’t really have a set of routines but I imagine the user just having to add this into their existing ones as opposed to disrupting or replanning it altogether. It’s great overall. It looks like another banger from S. Korea. 5/5 stars.

great texture that doesn’t pill or feel tacky; might not address all causes of redness
I’ve been trying a lot of azelaic acid serums lately hoping to calm some of the annoying redness on my cheeks, and I ordered this one because I recognized the Thome name; it’s the same brand as one of my favorite at-home peels (the 4-step G Peel). The area where I think this serum has the most going for it is texture. It is kind of like a lightweight serum with tiny capsules/beads that feel lightweight-oil-based and lightly moisturizing. This dries to a very smooth neutral texture, not a tacky or shiny “dried gel” look or feel. I definitely see and feel a smoothing and “bounce” effect. This serum is non-irritating; no stinging or itching. I can layer this with other appropriate skincare with no issues.I do find the fragrance to be a bit much/unnecessary. It isn’t strong or overbearing, but I generally don’t love sweet floral scents on my face near my nose; if you are sensitive to fragrance it’s something to keep in mind. It isn’t enough to make me not want to use this, but I would like it better if it were not there at all. After a few weeks, I can say that while my skin looks smoother, I don’t see much redness reduction. I don’t think this serum is the issue, but I do think that azelaic acid just isn’t the solution for my particular redness issue/skin type, which is not oily and not caused by blemishes. I will still use this for the hydration and smoothing, but am still searching for something to address redness.
