This is the first TOSOWOONG product to disappoint me. I should have known when it said “broad spectrum” that I wouldn’t like it because that is how Asian brands identify their sunscreen formulations have been made to be conpliant for the newer (and awful) FDA regulations about selling sunscreens to the US market. They are forced to use only FDA-approved sun filters, which means that many of the filters that are better, more skin safe, last longer, and that are more effective in actually protecting against the sun are very hard to get now. Anyway, when I saw this, I thought I would try it because I really love this brand’s products and I thought maybe I’d like this sunscreen, too. Unfortunately, as with many of the US sunscreens, my skin hates the chemical filters that it includes. I get itchy on my face from it and with continued use, see skin irritation or clogged pores from it. The newer, safer, and less irritating Asian filters are the only ones my skin can handle wearing on a daily basis. I believe in this one, it is the combination of Octocrylene and maybe the abovenzone that cause problems for me. But I have not had great luck with any of the 4 filters this one includes.The formula itself feels alright and it is moisturizing, but it does have that typical gross heavy/filmy feeling of US sunscreens that I am no longer accustomed to after being spoiled by Korean and Japanese sunscreen formulations. Even though this brand is Korean, the active ingredients in it for the spf protection are everything when it comes to how it applies and I’ve yet to find a reformulation of a product for the US that worked anything like the original (note: I have not tried any other sunscreen by this brand to compare it to; nor do I know if it had a version for Korea with different sun filters). I appreciate that it is not scented with added fragrance, but it does still have a scent that I believe comes from the active ingredients combined with the added oils in it (lavender, citronella, basil, rosemary, etc.). I appreciate that it doesn’t smell like stinky coconuts, but I also know that some of those oils can also lead to irritation for the skin.When wearing, this leaves a shiny cast on the skin. For me, it isn’t white but it does look kind of oily. Under makeup, it doesn’t perform as well as I would like because it can cause some pulling for me under my cc cream or cushion foundation if I scratch or touch my face.This will also burn your eyes if you get it anywhere near them. This is not water resistant or waterproof. It is also not sweat proof. This is not intended for sports or anything like that and it is just a daily sunscreen.Packaging is standard for the brand and I have no issues with it in terms of use. It is small enough to be travel friendly. It comes in a box that has a sticker to seal it and a seal on the inner cap, too.I will not be using this anywhere on my face moving forward. Instead, I will plan to use it on other parts of my body (making it expensive since it is meant as a face sunscreen and the bottle is only 1.69floz)…or I will pass it on to a family member that isn’t as picky or as sensitive to chemical uv filters as I am.

これな、「白浮きせえへん！」って堂々と書いてるから半信半疑で塗ってみたんやけど…ほんまに浮かへん。スーッと肌に溶け込む感じで、「あ、塗った感」あんまり出えへんのは普通に好印象やわ。しかも匂いほぼない。日焼け止め特有のあの「今から守りますよ！」みたいな主張の強い香りが苦手な人にはありがたいタイプ。でな、使ってて一番思うのが「とにかく保湿やな…」ってこと。しっとり感がけっこう強い。なんかもう“守る”より“潤す”のが本業ちゃう？ってレベル。やっぱ米系はしっとり方向に全振りしてくるな。米、ほんま偉大。日焼け止めとしての実力？正直この季節やとガチの炎天下テストしてへんから体感では何とも言えん。でもSPF50+ PA++++って書いてるし、数値信じるならまあ大丈夫やろ。疑い出したら全部キリないしな。まとめると、・白浮きほぼなしで肌なじみ良し・無香料に近くて使いやすい・保湿力かなりしっかり・日焼け止め性能は数値的には最強クラス・塗り心地はかなり快適【こんな人におすすめ】・乾燥しやすいけど日焼けも防ぎたい人・白浮き絶対イヤな人・日焼け止めの匂いが苦手な人【正直ポイント】・さっぱり系が好きな人には重く感じるかも・紫外線カット効果は実感しにくい（数値頼み）結論、「守って潤してくれる米の安心感。」日焼け止めというより“保湿ついでにUV対策”って感じやな。

This sunscreen is quite nice, it quickly became part of my skincare routine.The texture is lightweight and smooth, it absorbs quickly without leaving a white cast or too much of a greasy residue. My skin feels hydrated but not oily, which is hard to find in a sunscreen. It layers beautifully under makeup and doesn’t peal when I apply foundation on top.I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a strong sunscreen smell. It feels more like a moisturizer than traditional SPF. My skin looks fresh and slightly dewy after application, not shiny.Most importantly, it provides great sun protection. I’ve worn it outdoors for extended periods and didn’t experience any redness or irritation. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin and hasn’t caused any breakouts.This item is quite expensive so I would suggest saving up before purchasing this, but if you do It provides great sun protection, an important factor in sunscreen.

美容成分をいろいろと盛り込んだ日焼け止めクリームです。ベース成分にコメヌカ水を使っているのが特徴で、基剤から保湿力の高めた日焼け止めとなっています。日焼け止めの主力となる成分は、ホモサレート（サリチル酸ホモメンチル）、オクトクレリン、tｰブチルメトキシジベンゾイルメタンでどれも紫外線吸収剤です。紫外線散乱剤は使用していないようで、吸収剤だけの処方は今どき若干珍しい気もします。特にこれらの成分のうち、前のふたつは一部の国ではサンゴなど海の生物に悪影響があるとされ、規制されている成分でもあるので、その辺りを気にする方にはおすすめできません。吸収剤自体、肌質によっては刺激を感じる場合があるので、できれば散乱剤と複合していたら嬉しかったなという印象。保湿成分はふんだんに盛り込まれており、ベースのコメヌカ水を始め、ヒアルロン酸複数種、植物由来のオイル成分、乳酸桿菌/豆乳発酵液といった発酵成分も入っています。保湿力に関しては高く、ヒアルロン酸を日焼け止めに組み合わせると肌ダメージを低減してくれたりもするので、この部分は非常に良いと思います。使用感はクリームながらさらっとした質感で、軽めのテクスチャになっています。それでいてなじませた後の保湿感はしっかりとあり、日焼け止めとしては使いやすい使用感になっていると感じました。日焼け止め効果もSFP50+、PA++++と最高峰です。紫外線吸収剤であること、その成分の中でも懸念点がある成分を許容できること。これらの条件が問題ないのであれば、良質と言える商品だと思いました。
